The BenQ BL2420PT 23.8 I bought had a big dead black pixel right near the middle of the screen, and a blotchy spot at the bottom, but this monitor has no defects that I have noticed yet, but it is definitely not in the same league

If dead pixels bother you, I would avoid this monitor, as other reviews seem to indicate that dead pixels are common with this monitor.
