either right side up or upside down was a great selling point because it doesn't block the air vents when ac is on

Living in the Sacramento area, I need the air vents for the AC during the hot summer months.

Upside down installation also keeps my phone out of the way of the air vents

A great advantage with this mount is that it provides a fairly solid platform for an iPhone with comfortable brackets on the sides and below the phone, and all without blocking any air vents

I used to have one of those mounts that you attach to the air vent.

We had ordered the magnetic ones that fit on the air vents but they were always falling off and just did not work well.
