beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohm Studio Headphone

    • Absolutely love the bass on these
    • I had only experience cheap headphones that exaggerated the bass
    • They have very nice specialized bass frequency while closely paying attention to the mid & high frequencies as well
    • The bass is there to support the music I listen to, from Ludacris to Dexter Gordon to Peter Garbriel's Passion.
    • Incredible, impactful bass, but the highs are incredible as well
    • Also, they're not for bass heads - the bass is solid, but not pronounced so if you're used to bass heavy cans they're a bit softer than you're used to
    • For me I wanted something with a decent sound stage, good bass, and a comfortable fit
    • And the bass is excellent
    • Bass is articulate with good extension and well behaved not leaking into the mids.
    • You can believe what you like about burn in but the proof is in the pudding as I left the Beyers plugged in for the afternoon ( longer the better hopefully). They literally metamorphosized between my ears ,the bass became rich and lucid, instruments clear and resonant (oops, sounding like an audiophile) the sound was totally transformed in every way, so at last I have the head phones to compliment my above plug ins
    • Great bass response
    • The bass, unbeatable
    • I also like that the bass is well balanced not too strong but not too weak
    • My preferred SQ tends to favor bass, vocals, and soundstage
    • These DT 770 Pro's are very comfortable and have a much better bass response, and I plan on using these for a long time
    • They're extremely comfortable, the sound is mind blowing and the bass through them is perfect.
    • They have very deep and clear bass and great high end range as well.
    • Good bass response
    • The bass is great and full
    • The bass is loud and very tasty.
    • They manage to be both crisp and rich, and of course the bass is fun (but is not overblown - I
    • Plenty of bass for a bass head like me and very comfortable
    • The bass is simply incredible
    • Better bass, bandwidth -- noise isolating, not just cancelling.
    • The highs and mids are extremely clear, and well, the bass is INCREDIBLE
    • The bass is slightly boosted, but only by a tasteful amount
    • Lacked a little bass, but loved the brightness of sound.
    • Frequency response range is excellent, especially how low the bass can get, very impressive
    • The bass is good but the highs makes the music extremely annoying to listen to
    • It has a fantastic range and heavy bass
    • The bass is solid and discernible from other parts of the mix and the highs don't seem to bleed as much as the Sony's
    • Basically, they have the midrange/vocal clarity of the Sony mdr studio monitors, but with incredible treble balance and excellent bass reproduction
    • The highs are crisp, the bass is tight, there is no unwanted echo or "tin" sound
    • If you love a bass you must know about Beyerdynamic frequency response - it starts at
    • The layered bass of this track highlights the DT 770's strength, which is its incredible bass range
    • It is not a bad headphone though and has some good qualities like solid bass
    • The bass is like a supporting actor.
    • The sounds are crisp and the high power lets you get really loud and clean bass, perfect for playing Battlefield, Hotline Miami, FTL, or other audio-centric titles
    • To recap, yes these headphones are expensive but if you're ready to make the jump to studio quality sound with some nice bass punch, these are a fantastic buy.
    • i noticed distortion at modest bass levels if you turn the bass off and like mid range and
    • I'm just some guy that appreciates good sound and yummy bass
    • the bass is perfect and the mids highs are fantastic
    • Lacked a little bass, but loved the brightness of sound.
    • bass is excellent
    • Don't know how someone can say they lack bass, they can produce more bass than you can handle
    • I use the FiiO E7 (Kilimanjaro) and use it to boost the bass and clarity in movies and songs
    • I would opt for the DT150, the have a much flatter response and provide good bass extension without being boomy
    • For reference, I am using the 250 Ohm DT 770 Pro and an Fiio E10k, bass boost does nothing to fix it
    • Crisp highs, solid mid range, and deep bass
    • The bass is so precise, deep and controlled
    • for a v shaped headphone it has great low end bass and clear highs but lacking in mid range all in all a great replacement
    • The bass is possibly a little recessed for some, but in a world of bass-boosted everything, it's nice to find a pair of headphones that break the mold
    • Very clear, crisp sound, and none of the harsh treble that people claim to hear from these headphones, and you can certainly get good bass response if you're willing to crank up the bottom few bands of the equalizer
    • These things sure do have a pretty pleasant low bass extension, and are not lacking in quantity in this area, but it's a little muddy or murky or something, and definitely not tight and defined.
    • The bass on the m50xs were pretty much nonexistent, even with a bass boosting EQ
    • Both amps are flat balancing without emphasizing or boosting the bass, so I don't quite get the thump I'd really like but bass is definitely present.
    • These have the best bass of any headphone I've ever listened to.
    • The grados were good with the detail but did lack some bass when I played some of my R&B or rap music but the highend detail was phenomenal
    • The bass is very smooth, but not overpowering
    • I had read that this model had good bass reproduction, were a bit recessed in the midrange, and were "bright" in the high frequencies
    • Having that nice natural bass is great
    • Rich bass, great high, clear vocals
    • For listening, these headphones have a very warm, smooth sound with incredible clean and accurate bass, clean smooth treble but lacking mids
    • The bass in them is amazing, and despite being closed headphones, the sound stage is still pretty damn good
    • When you put the headphones on, the outside world sound seem to almost fade away completely, kind of like being underwater after you dive and the sharp sounds fades and your only left with this bass-like
    • I first noticed that the bass in the headphones is very weak and hard to mix because
    • They are near-reference quality with great bass response, which is great for production sound mixing or boom operation for picking up low frequencies or handling noise
    • While listening to music, I can hear the voices clearly, all the taps on the cymbals and thuds on the bass drum, the bass guitar, lead and rhythm guitars, and synth all come through as well
    • The bass is a bit lighter than the ATH-M50S, but nothing lacking like the Sennheiser 448 and 598 drivers
    • Excellent bass
    • To sum it up:Pros - Never become uncomfortable; quite sound resistant; adapter for 1/4" or 1/8" jack (perfect connection, too); incredible sound quality; great for mixing (even more so if you like a little more bass than most); long cable makes gives you some freedom of movement; durableCons - Could be considered quiet by some; Some what bulky, in that you have to take their size into consideration when packing a bag, or something similar; long cable, although useful at times, can become a
    • You can listed to something like Led Zeppelin, and the bass is just right
    • My main requirements were: clean sound with neutral signature, especially in the bass (many closed headphones sound boomy with an exaggerated bass), long term comfort and moderate price
    • The bass feels slightly boosted, just the right amount
    • They have such a real and present, perfect, clear, true bass response.
    • Excellent bass response - tight, clear, and extended
    • Not enough bass for bass-loversKind RegardsSimon
    • Bass is great in techno, but i've loved every genre with these
    • But after I sold it I felt a void for a comfortable closed headphone that had a nice bass response
    • The bass is clean and powerful
    • Back to Beyerdynamics - nice bass, excellent clarity, impressive dynamic range
    • If you're looking for something with a darker signature and some punchy bass this is a good choice.
    • It's not just a ton of bass, though; it's clear, natural sounding bass.
    • These cans will get you adjusted to detail and realistic bass, the change wont be over
    • The audio is crystal clear, and the bass is just great
    • The bass is perfect, very complementary for me, not over powering at all
    • The really low bass is incredible
    • Problem I had with these can were that the bass was not good until I took out the air flow filterAfter 3 months with the 770 pro
    • vivid detail, tight bass and comfortable
    • Clear sound, good bass
    • To my surprise, bass wasn't that great
    • Accurate and good bass extension
    • They are also great for checking mixes in the low end, as well as during the mastering process, for picking up problems in the low end and mid-low end, as well as the high end, where overly harsh highs will be brought out by these phones
    • I was worried because the material seemed to squeak a
    • Another thing about these, and any other headphones, is that the sound will improve as the cans break in
    • When I first plugged these headphones in I wasn`t that impressed as I bought them primarily for the enhanced bass, my previous cans the Sony Mdr-1r were lacking in this
    • Use these for recording/tracking as well as with my V-Drums.
    • I HATE Sennheisers as they have no emotion and a very sterile sound.
    • Honestly, have to say the treble is just as good on these as on the HD800s
    • I like using the 7506 at the soundboard and the 770’s for listening to music.
