I strongly recommend the DT 770 PRO's to anyone who wants a high quality closed headphones at a reasonable price.
My boyfriend loved these, and they were a great price and arrived on time:)He was already familiar with the product, as a sound engineer, and he said they were great and uses them everyday:)
I am very happy with this purchase and strongly recomment this product for anyone in search of high quality headphones at a reasonable price.
If price is a major concern, you're probably better suited going to a brick and mortar chain and picking up a cheap set of closed headphones
While the sound quality was important to me, the price was important as well because I didn't want to spend too much on what is admittedly for background music while working
These are the best product iv ever bought, not just one i have 2 of these and about to purchase one more, i run a studio in detroit and every artist that i record are bascially in love with these headphones and for the buy, the best for the money..!!
Great product one of the best in the field outstanding sound quality if your headphone isn't broken you will be very happy to own this great product
The actual physical product is lousy.
I have a cheap-o sound card, and this time I did notice a sound quality increase when using the amp
Once you listen to your favorite music in these for the first time, you'll understand
You won't bother other people even with loud music, but you won't be able to hear your surroundings much either
I have not only found new music that I like, but it's also ruined some music that I used to listen to by exposing the lack of artist talent or recording quality
My music sounds amazing and I'm really happy with the sound of these headphones
They sound great with a portable music player or computer, but with an amp these headphones really open up
I HATE Sennheisers as they have no emotion and a very sterile sound.
The only complaint that I have is that at 250 ohms you really need a good amp to drive them
The amp has output impedance of 1 ohm max and will drive phones from 32 to 600 ohms, taking them typically up to 120 dB SPL, with 200 mW minimum power for 32 to 150 ohm phones (with 75 ohm phones being optimum at 239 mW, and yielding 146 mW for 300 ohm phones)
if you plan on buying these buy a good amp to go with it.
They need a good headphone amp to drive them well, but I use them in a studio setting with good headphone amps.

Great sound, AMAZING COMFORT, and built to last a nuke.
All in all these are amazing headphones with extraordinary comfort, sound, and quality that you would come to expect from Beyerdynamic.
The price tag may be a little steep, but the comfort, sound, and reliability are worth it.
In summary, the DT770 affords the buyer a warm sound signature and a definite bass/mid-bass emphasis with excellent build quality, comfort, and remains an excellent buy.
On the flip side, I can hear footsteps from quite a distance away, even if the poor directional sound quality keeps you guessing as to where exactly they are coming from (Gaben pls).In short, if you have the hardware to run these cans, I highly recommend them
Strange Achilles heel for such a high quality, expensive device
these headphones are fantastic, strong construction, amazing sound quality and very comfortable.
For the price-point they have excellent sound quality and clarity
In fact, I can hear the imperfections in lower bitrate files too clearly (128kbps mp3 files, Youtube videos with poorer sound quality).
Use these for recording/tracking as well as with my V-Drums.
Very good quality construction although the ear cuffs are kind of made out of cheap plastic
I like using the 7506 at the soundboard and the 770’s for listening to music.
This is my 3rd Beyerdynamic already (had current gen DT770 and DT990 models) and they both died after 5 years from the same symptom - plastic bracket at the end of the headband cracked and eventually shattered into pieces, which renders headphones useless
Honestly, have to say the treble is just as good on these as on the HD800s
Listening to Skream, Nero, Daft Punk, it all sounds better than ever
Use these for recording/tracking as well as with my V-Drums.
Another thing about these, and any other headphones, is that the sound will improve as the cans break in
I HATE Sennheisers as they have no emotion and a very sterile sound.
They are also great for checking mixes in the low end, as well as during the mastering process, for picking up problems in the low end and mid-low end, as well as the high end, where overly harsh highs will be brought out by these phones
