beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohm Studio Headphone

    • This is my 3rd Beyerdynamic already (had current gen DT770 and DT990 models) and they both died after 5 years from the same symptom - plastic bracket at the end of the headband cracked and eventually shattered into pieces, which renders headphones useless
    • The plastic feels cheap, although plenty sturdy
    • Additionally, the large hollow plastic ear pieces are a problem insofar as any cable movement/taps (including head movements) etc
    • The plastic feels cheap, although plenty sturdy
    • Very good quality construction although the ear cuffs are kind of made out of cheap plastic
    • My Apple earbuds are fine, (the quality silicone ones, not the included plastic crappy ones) but don't sound the same to me - especially for bass
    • They are also great for checking mixes in the low end, as well as during the mastering process, for picking up problems in the low end and mid-low end, as well as the high end, where overly harsh highs will be brought out by these phones
    • I was worried because the material seemed to squeak a
    • Another thing about these, and any other headphones, is that the sound will improve as the cans break in
    • When I first plugged these headphones in I wasn`t that impressed as I bought them primarily for the enhanced bass, my previous cans the Sony Mdr-1r were lacking in this
    • Use these for recording/tracking as well as with my V-Drums.
    • I HATE Sennheisers as they have no emotion and a very sterile sound.
    • Honestly, have to say the treble is just as good on these as on the HD800s
    • I like using the 7506 at the soundboard and the 770’s for listening to music.
    • n’t loose on my head either
