    • Now, my only gripe is the cable
    • I'm using iTunes on OSX, with the OS setup to output 192KHz/24-bit signal to the modi2 through a fairly cheap USB cable.
    • My only other con is that they use a coiled cable, now I don't hate coiled cables, but I do find they're often way too tight and not forgiving enough to be useful.
    • Poor headphone, 8 months broke the cable
    • They had some thump, good sound-field, light to wear and the cable was replaceable.
    • If I had to complain about anything...the cable isn't replaceable
    • I also plan to shorten the cable into a short stub (like the Superlux 668) at some point; for now i'm living with that fat coiled cord
    • Unfortunately, after about two years of light use, the cable failed at the strain relief where it attaches to the headphone.
    • In conclusion, I gave this a rating of 5 stars but it really should be more like 4.5, the sound is amazing and they are very comfortable, but the plastic pieces and the huge, non-detachable cable (without tearing open the headphones) are a little disappointing
    • Comfortable, good finishing and cable
    • other than the non-detachable cable i have no gripes
    • I'm fairly certain that my next set of headphones will have a detachable cable.
    • The coiled cable can get annoying, but i just cut mine and soldered a 3.5mm female connector to it (it's like they have a detacheable cable, which i think they should have come with anyways)
    • My only qualm is that I got the pro version with the coiled cable and the coils make the cable a bit heavier than I would like
    • Very neutral sound, accurate, with great build quality, and now with a detachable cable, so I am about to purchase a pair for only $99, £10 less than getting the DT770 repaired
    • The replaceable cable really sold it, and thankfully it was because after 2 years, one of the cables broke.
    • If Beyerdynamic is listening, a modification in the design to this model that allows for detachable cables of differing types, would make this product perfect.
    • To sum it up:Pros - Never become uncomfortable; quite sound resistant; adapter for 1/4" or 1/8" jack (perfect connection, too); incredible sound quality; great for mixing (even more so if you like a little more bass than most); long cable makes gives you some freedom of movement; durableCons - Could be considered quiet by some; Some what bulky, in that you have to take their size into consideration when packing a bag, or something similar; long cable, although useful at times, can become a
    • It's not a completely bad aspect, since lengthy cables will allow the headphone to be plugged easily into a desktop PC or a TV set
    • Good music/TV experience+ Robust construction+ Cord/Cable (does not pull on the
    • The only gripe is that the cable isn't detachable and the design isn't as portable as it could be.
    • I use a right-angle 3.5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter at the headphone jack to protect the cable and jack from developing a short from the weight of the cable
    • I wish they had a detachable cable and wish I could afford the open 1990 cans...
    • They are also great for checking mixes in the low end, as well as during the mastering process, for picking up problems in the low end and mid-low end, as well as the high end, where overly harsh highs will be brought out by these phones
    • I was worried because the material seemed to squeak a
    • Another thing about these, and any other headphones, is that the sound will improve as the cans break in
    • When I first plugged these headphones in I wasn`t that impressed as I bought them primarily for the enhanced bass, my previous cans the Sony Mdr-1r were lacking in this
    • Use these for recording/tracking as well as with my V-Drums.
    • I HATE Sennheisers as they have no emotion and a very sterile sound.
    • Honestly, have to say the treble is just as good on these as on the HD800s
