The highs were really harsh and tinny, the bass undefined, and the mids completely sapped out like a 13 year old metal guitarist's Line6 Spider EQ settings

STRONG Bass but clean and not at all muddy

Bass - After about 20 hrs of usage, the bass is simply amazing

I watched the 4K bluray version of Deadpool: it had nice bass during explosions, I was able to hear things I never heard before (this is a good thing), dialog was so much clearer than my tower speakers

The bass definitely improved after 100 hours of burn in and after replacing the stock velour pads for the Beyerdynamic leather pads

Was debating between these and the 250 ohm ones but these are perfect if you like to really hear the fabulous quality bass in the music you listen to and the sound is not muffled at all, very clear.

These definitely satisfied my taste in the clean bass arena; they go low but don't break apart.

Out of the box, they have fantastic bass, fantastic overall audio quality, and they SEEM sturdy and well built

The treble was grating to the point of headache inducing at high volumes, the bass was lacking, and there is next to no sound

Definitely recommend anyone who wants to hear elevated bass and very good clarity for its price point.

Wow!I knew from the extensive research I did online before settling on this product that I could expect extremely accurate, closed monitors with well defined bass

This didn't bother me because I prefer more treble in my sound, but when I do feel like I want more bass, I always have the FiiO A3's bass boost which gives it a nice deeper sound for movies and other things.

I would opt for the DT150, the have a much flatter response and provide good bass extension without being boomy

The bass is truly amazing, and makes dance/pop/electronic music sound incredible.
