beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm Studio Headphone

    • The highs were really harsh and tinny, the bass undefined, and the mids completely sapped out like a 13 year old metal guitarist's Line6 Spider EQ settings
    • STRONG Bass but clean and not at all muddy
    • Bass - After about 20 hrs of usage, the bass is simply amazing
    • I watched the 4K bluray version of Deadpool: it had nice bass during explosions, I was able to hear things I never heard before (this is a good thing), dialog was so much clearer than my tower speakers
    • Very good and deep bass feedback (I'm into Electronic music, so this is a GIANT plus for me.
    • If you are the kind of person that boosts the volume of your music until the bass is strong enough, then definitely go for the 80ohm version
    • The bass definitely improved after 100 hours of burn in and after replacing the stock velour pads for the Beyerdynamic leather pads
    • Was debating between these and the 250 ohm ones but these are perfect if you like to really hear the fabulous quality bass in the music you listen to and the sound is not muffled at all, very clear.
    • You can really enjoy the bass on these HPs whether you listen to classic rock or rap
    • the bass is simply nice, clean, and fun like she meant it to be
    • Enough bass for any kind of music
    • Clear throughout the range and just enough bass without being overpowering
    • The bass is gorgeous and deep, but so much better controlled than the M50's
    • Overall, I am pleased, but would like less boomy bass, more isolation (-30dB isn't enough!)
    • You get a very sweet rolling thunder low bass emphasis and this makes some tracks sound absolutely gorgeous.
    • This is just an amazingly transparent, linear (not overemphasizing bass) and comfortable headphone
    • I say, they enhance sound too much, like add bass and less midsjust edited my rating from 4 to 1 stars because they are overpriced for the no value they bring to me and the hustle for me to have to return them now
    • The bass and mid-bass on these headphones is very clean and is a comfort to listen to for long periods of time
    • no way "burn in" will transform these into anything close to what people rave about, good bass
    • These headphones have no trouble being driven directly by my smartphone or PC (the volume just has to be increased slightly compared to other headphones and there is only slightly less "punch", but the bass is still good)
    • The sound is crystal clear with great bass and no distortion when turned up
    • They provide extremely smooth and quick bass response (especially sub bass), while also providing good mids and highs, and a good sound stage
    • They've got good frequency response, deep bass, and clear midtones
    • Amazing sound, bass and presence (over 5k) are hyped a little, but not too much
    • The bass is great on these headphones with an amp
    • The bass is amazing on these
    • Amazing, right out of the box they are crystal clear, super tight bass clear as day mids and highs
    • The bass is clean and smooth down to 30hz, which is as good extension as any sub, but the DT770 unequalized have very muddy unimpressive midbass with harsh sibilance-filled highs
    • The sound quality on these is superior to the HD280 Pros across the board, with stronger bass, clearer mids, and crisp highs
    • The bass is solid, the midtone is properly present and treble is soft yet crisp
    • Main differences in SQ between them are:mod MT5 - more bass, slighlty attenuated high-mids, pleasant top-end, excellent stereo imaging, articulate at any volumeDT 770 - more controlled sub-bass, flatter passband, clear top-end, very good stereo imaging, articulate at louder volumes
    • These definitely satisfied my taste in the clean bass arena; they go low but don't break apart.
    • Out of the box, they have fantastic bass, fantastic overall audio quality, and they SEEM sturdy and well built
    • The treble was grating to the point of headache inducing at high volumes, the bass was lacking, and there is next to no sound
    • Definitely recommend anyone who wants to hear elevated bass and very good clarity for its price point.
    • Super comfy to wear for long periods, awesome bass, crisp highs
    • Wow!I knew from the extensive research I did online before settling on this product that I could expect extremely accurate, closed monitors with well defined bass
    • So to someone who is used to $300+ phones or open headphones, you may not enjoy the bass or mids.
    • The bass was absolutely nonexistent and the volume was incredibly low; my galaxy s7 clearly didn't have the power to really drive these headphones to the best of their ability
    • Clear throughout the range and just enough bass without being overpowering
    • , it's bass is just amazing and works great with all kind of music
    • Great bass but not over powering.
    • Very clean and tight bass
    • It has some sweet spot frequencies that really make the bass thump and sound exciting
    • Great bass response
    • It's clean bass, though, which just makes listening to the music that much better
    • Also, I do like the slight HF boost due to my old ears (61yrs old), and accurate bass can always be adjusted if needed.
    • Highs sound slightly processed, but it didn't bother me, it seemed to go well with the powerful bass.
    • that hype was all justified, that is some GOOD bass
    • My only complaints are: that the bass can be slightly muddy, and that the headphone cable is not detachable (and therefore not replaceable).
    • Bass was warbly and slightly distorted, but I could see what potential could be brought to the surface after some break-in time
    • The bass is responsive and tight, easily reproducing some of the thumpiest tunes in my playlist
    • As for bass, the bass is nice and has a strong punch
    • If I have it at 40% and a song hits a heavy bass, the headphones distort
    • STRONG Bass but clean and not at all muddy
    • Great BASS!!!
    • The bass is simply perfect for my tastes.. still tight enough, controlled and as deep as it can or needs to be.
    • The bass is nice, full, hits like it should but not over powered
    • when I try to turn the volume up a little bit the bass completely destroys all other frequencies and distorts the sound
    • The sound is immaculate and the bass is fantastic
    • Love the bass on these
    • Good deep bass
    • The bass really sound good in this song
    • The bass is tight, and clean
    • This didn't bother me because I prefer more treble in my sound, but when I do feel like I want more bass, I always have the FiiO A3's bass boost which gives it a nice deeper sound for movies and other things.
    • The only reason I did not give them five stars is because the bass is not as strong as I was hoping
    • This, I believe, is due to the fantastic bass response which stays strong below
    • It doesnt feel like a gimmicky bass
    • I prefer accurate, clean bass as opposed to the booming noise that is so prevalent today.
    • I prefer accurate, clean bass as opposed to the booming noise that is so prevalent today.
    • I would opt for the DT150, the have a much flatter response and provide good bass extension without being boomy
    • Has nice, tight bass, that isnt overly done or muddled
    • Comes with a nylon pouch and name plate so you and your partner/band members can avoid passing the party lice around, LOL.Update: After 100 hrs these get richer in sound, the bass is less restricted and the top end becomes more natural
    • It's not a ridiculous bass boost either like Beats headphones, it might be like a +1db in the 80-120spectrum
    • They sound crystal clear with rich bass and eliminate external noise
    • lol.-These do produce nice bass, not like the craptastic "Beat's by Dre" or skull candy (which I own several of until I realized I had been just wasting my money this entire time)
    • Depending on the sound--e.g., explosions or bass tones in music--the unrealistically deep bass is pleasurable
    • I bought and returned my Oppo PM-3s because I preferred the bass on the dt770s so much more
    • Tight and controlled, it will sound bad (too much EQ/bass boost from your source) before it sounds overpowering, I'd say the bass is where these shine
    • (Sony's)- Bass isn't as strong as the 7506's, but after listening to these I feel like the balance is better, and that the 7506's are
    • Tight and controlled, it will sound bad (too much EQ/bass boost from your source) before it sounds overpowering, I'd say the bass is where these shine
    • The bass is truly amazing, and makes dance/pop/electronic music sound incredible.
    • The bass is fine, but definitely not more deep bass than the 250ohms
    • I did want decent bass and so far these have delivered although as I said before I will get a headphone amp to unleash their potential
    • lol.-These do produce nice bass, not like the craptastic "Beat's by Dre" or skull candy (which I own several of until I realized I had been just wasting my money this entire time)
    • I do prefer them over the V-Moda M100 and love the bass.
    • The bass is very nice and in general the sound is very crisp and clear
    • but I thought bass was tad too much even after burning it for recommended 72 hours
    • It's not a ridiculous bass boost either like Beats headphones, it might be like a +1db in the 80-120spectrum
    • The bass is really nice and deep and detailed without being sounding boomy or overdone
    • Good bass.
    • Nothing that wows you like VMODA's LP2 / M100's which features vibrant bass that literally shakes your headphones.3.5/5 sound (for gaming)
    • Just got these headphones from eBay, and I love them!**This review is for the 80ohm version**Pros:-Great bass, lots of quantity and quality.-Great treble, lots of detail.-Excellent soundstage, at least compared to the headphones I've used in the past.-Very comfortable after stretching them out a bit to get rid of the excessive clamping (metal band used, so it's easy to fix!)-Great build quality, metal head band parts-Easy to modify-Straight cable that is a great lengthCons:-Somewhat veiled mids, but doesn't seem to be bad with increased volume
    • With the other, I kept thinking to myself that the bass was nice, but always a little less impactful than I wished for
    • I used them for both recording and mixing for my amateur home music studio, as well as for general use (often late night music, TV, and movies).I was really pleased with the quality of these headphones
    • At first, I was worried about the headphone cable eventually breaking as it is not detachable, but from continuous use, I have seen no wear or tear on the cable itself.
    • I'm not too worried about them breaking as they are not flimsy like plastic beats and the like
    • Senhiser HD 599The interchange-able cables with different lengths worked perfect for home listening as well as on the go
