The MDRs have two basic problems, the plastic ear pads crack & the plastic flakes off (you can replace the ear pads, but 2 or 3 times a year?), and their coiled chord gets shorted very easily.

I have only used these beyers 3 times and I didn't even bother calling because if the replacement pair is also bad.. .whats the point.

My other headphones were never big enough to fit over my ears but these are, and its great!I would buy these again or as a gift.
