These sound great in games due to their open back

Sound is good, the high range can be a bit grating at times

This makes the 990 a nice option for gaming just not the "best" option for competitive "sound whoring"

The treble is rather bright, but after a bit of EQ these headphones sound great for EDM and movies.

Great out of the box, perfect for the kind of guy that plays with an EQ to get just the right sound they like

The sound was fine but i bought these from a 3rd party seller and they were clearly used and open

But they have very accurate and very clear sound and positional awareness

they leak sound and don't block sound from outside

M50's are closed back, do not leak much sound, they are easy to drive
