Exactly what I look for in a coffee maker, super simple, super affordable, and does one thing really well...makes a pot of coffee!

Only thing I do not like..and this is so for all machines

Yes, the Cuisinart pot couldn't even pour coffee without spilling everywhere, which is just about the worst thing a coffee pot can do...after all, its only role in life is to pour coffee, and if it can't do that, it doesn't really have a reason to exist

So the best thing to do is throw the pot in the trash and buy an aftermarket replacement pot

My mother always said, you buy cheap, you get cheap things

We bought a cheapest-thing-at-Walmart replacement and discovered out coffee started tasting great again

Good thing I had it in a secondary container

This thing was a waste of money.

I personally did not notice any bad plastic smells or any other bad things that negative reviews describe

The only thing not to like is that the lid does not come off the pot making it impossible to wash in the dishwasher.

This thing died on me after 3 months, stopped brewing and stopped heating all at once.

This thing is great...the carafe does not dribble!..and like the hokey pokey, it's what's it all about!

Great and fast--I like my coffee quick and hot when I awaken at O'Dark Thirty!

The only negative is that it doesn't keep the coffee as hot as I like it.

Coffee is not as hot as I like and is much weaker.

Broke as I was cleaning it with a wash cloth.
