The only reason that I don't rate this product 5 stars is that the pour spout is a bit wide and tends to splatter a bit when pouring.

This one is a bit difficult to clean - the pour spout itself has inner parts that are inaccessible, and the water tank itself is hard to get into

After that it cools quite a bit rather quickly

Easy to program, a bit of a pain in the butt to fill with water and also the carafe broke within a month of owning it, now it leaks down the side and makes a mess of my counter every time I try to pour coffee

The process of making coffee is a bit more cumbersome, as you must warm up the carafe prior to it holding the coffee after brewing.

More than 8 scoops tends to cause the grinds to make a bit of a mess under its cover

Knocked it down a star because when I pour a cup the pitcher leaks a little bit around the mouth onto the counter which irritates me

Cons:- Thermal carafe is sometimes a little tricky to slide back into brewer, though it seems like it's gotten springier and more fluid over time with use.- Thermal carafe lid gets tight and is a bit tricky / might require some effort to unscrew to clean the pot - but again, easier to unscrew in time with use.

I love this, it was a bit higher than I intended to spend however it was worth it

The open and closing of the lid's plastic latch is a bit difficult and being made of plastic, I wonder how long this latch or pop in pop out plastic button is going last?

At least I can use the carafe for pour-over until I get a replacement (definitely NOT another inexpensive B&D).

The carafe works great to keep coffee warm but that's about the only positive I have for this pot right now.

n’t overcook the coffee for a burnt taste but the pot leaks around the lid when you pour it
