    • The stainless steel carafe, lid and basket are dishwasher safe
    • Everything about this product is well done, from the easy to set timer and flavor settings, to the handy no-drip lid.
    • I suspect the seal on the carafe lid was too stiff (being brand new) and that the seal wasn't fully open despite the correct setup, causing the coffee to spill over the lid rather than entering it.3) if the carafe is not precisely in place under the basket, it may be possible for the valve in the lid to not be triggered, causing the coffee to spill over the lid rather than entering it
    • I believe the culprit is the lid to the carafe and the basket itself
    • The plastic tab that holds the lid down broke when I closed it

    • Wasn't crazy about getting a "programmable" maker (as I don't use this feature EVER), but figured since it was B&D would be better than the others
    • At least I can use the carafe for pour-over until I get a replacement (definitely NOT another inexpensive B&D).
