I like thermal coffee pots

The handle is broken off the pot

Noticed that sometimes the auto stop didn't stop and the pot would often not pour very well and leak down the sides.

I want to love this coffee pot but no matter what I do or how much I clean it, my coffee always smells and tastes burnt

One particular pot, by a big name brand, was impossible to fill without a cup with a big spout, and pouring the brew was always leaky from the top of the carafe.

I favor thermal pots and had one for 30 years.

You don’t have to turn the burner off as there is no need to keep the pot warm.

We have bought more expensive pots that were horrible and sent them back

so I continue to look for a durable, uncomplicated, stainless coffee pot with a thermal carafe.

This will not occur with this pot, plus the flavor is just like having your first cup, if you like making a whole pot!

My only complaint other than the price is the pot doesn't really keep the coffee hot long enough.. a couple of hours and it starts cooling off

This was a welcome option to have stainless steel, after having broken my last Pyrex glass coffee pot

Cons:- Thermal carafe is sometimes a little tricky to slide back into brewer, though it seems like it's gotten springier and more fluid over time with use.- Thermal carafe lid gets tight and is a bit tricky / might require some effort to unscrew to clean the pot - but again, easier to unscrew in time with use.

I really wanted to like this coffee pot as it has the features I am looking for.

well, this is our 4th one of these in less than 3 years, great coffee pot and works good except when you have hard water, we are lucky to get thru 7 months with one, even cleaning often won't help, then after 5 months the carafe quits keeping the coffee hot as well, but in our rv they work great since we drink about a pot in the am and another at nite, they take up less power since after it is done brewing it shuts off and metal carafe keeps it warm, just sad they don't last longer and price keeps going up

Brewing is relatively fast and the insulated pot keeps the brew pretty warm for quite some time - even without pre-heating it prior to brewing

This is just about the best coffee pot in any price range

Just be sure to fill the pot with very hot water before brewing to keep the pot hot.

This was a fine coffee pot while it was working.

Every single pot there's grinds in the pot, coffee on the hot plate burning it, the filter cup always has grinds in it outside of the filter

Coffee turns acidic after 20 minutes on an open burner, so the thermal pot keep coffee warm without burning.

We were very certain we had received a defective coffee pot and was sent a replacement that preforms exactly as the first one.
