This was a welcome option to have stainless steel, after having broken my last Pyrex glass coffee pot

I replaced my original coffeepot with this because I loved it so much - affordable, stainless steel craft, and the best part

Another thing of why I'm happy about it not working and returning is when I was washing the "stainless steel" carafe, I noticed black on the bottom inside.

The pot is stainless steel and insulated so the coffee can get done early before I get up and the coffee maker has turned off and the coffee stays hot in the carafe for a good hour or more.

It’s hard to find a carafe that’s stainless steel and holds 12 cups.

I assume that they omitted this because it's going into a stainless steel carafe that is supposed to keep the coffee warm for 2 hours

The problem is that they didn’t double wall the stainless steel

I had another brand stainless steel one before this and didn’t have that problem

The carafe is double wall stainless steel and kept the coffee hot for 6 hours, warm for an additional 2 hours, without giving it a burned taste.

Bonus that it is a larger pot than most stainless steel carafe coffee makers.
