This is just a terrible design that was obviously only intended to last you a short amount of time before it gets too disgusting and smokey from all of the crumbs finding a home in inaccessible crevices

My feeling this toaster is a bad design and needs to be reworked.

All the building blocks for a good toaster are here but they have crippled themselves with absurd design choices that would be obvious to even a young child.
