Forget about using the bake function to warm anything up

Does not have a clear toast function that can be set in minutes or darkness

That didn't hurt the function of it and we are pleased with it.

I like the function of the controls and the ease of settings

The oven function works well enough, but the toaster toasts totally unevenly -- the part of the bread slice that's in back is overdone while the front edge is almost untoasted.
