Controls are easy to understand, the timer doesn't putter out when it gets near to being done (though that could just be because it is new), and I really like that it has an always on setting for when I don't want to use the timer

So I unplug it and when the timer runs out it "dings" and it's finished (even though it's already been unplugged)

But the timer is so terribly inconsistent that you'll almost always be disappointed that the toaster either burned your toast or didn't run long enough to toast.

I've been just turning it way up, letting it go and watching the toast until it's where I like it, then I pull the plug, remove the toast and just let the timer keep on ticking down until it dings.
