    Black+Decker TO1313SBD Toaster Oven, 16.4 Inch, Silver

    • Now that I've burnt my toast a couple a few times, I'll be getting a different oven.
    • However, right at two years from our purchase date, the dial that controls how long something toasts or bakes broke.
    • Also, despite the "EvenToast Technology" proclamation, the only way I could get evenly browned toast is to turn the bread over and around 180 degrees about half way through, while closely examining how brown it toasts because the timer is useless
    • Top is evenly toasted but bottom has lines because of rack.
    • Love this toaster, doesn’t burn the toast like my last
    • It's very, very powerful, meaning it burns your toast almost
    • But the timer is so terribly inconsistent that you'll almost always be disappointed that the toaster either burned your toast or didn't run long enough to toast.
    • The toaster works so quickly that for now I have to watch carefully not to burn the toast.
    • Warmth feature keeps foods nice and warm, no over-toasting or burning anything
    • it would burn my toast near the back of the oven but not toast enough near the door.
    • Slow toasting - my old Black & Decker (with a simple on/off lever) toasted bread much faster than this one.4.
    • So hard to determine the settings, at times it would burn the toast then other times it wouldn’t burn the toast 🤷‍♀️
    • I put it on the toast setting, did the timer for well done toast and just ran it.
    • My one caveat, and the reason I'm giving only three stars: Our routine is we throw some toast in in the morning and when the toast looks good we spin the timer down to zero to shut it off
    • The toaster burns the toast, and it's really difficult to get it set correctly
    • Then if you decide your toast is ready before the toaster does, and shut the timer off by turning it all the way to the left, the toaster ... stays on ... and on ... in "stay on" mode, burning not only the toast, but possibly your house.
    • The entire outside of the oven gets way too hot, even when toasting
    • Lowest shelf for toasting burns toast
    • Way too powerfulSettings and burns toast.
    • Simple toast burns easily even if it’s a hair over the medium line.
    • The oven works OK, and the removable crumb tray is great, but it burns toast on the lowest setting EVERY TIME
    • Perfect toast and easy reheating.
    • This one we burned toast for a month until we realized the dial only allowed for two done-ness levels, half black and all black
    • Then if you decide your toast is ready before the toaster does, and shut the timer off by turning it all the way to the left, the toaster ... stays on ... and on ... in "stay on" mode, burning not only the toast, but possibly your house.
    • Warmth feature keeps foods nice and warm, no over-toasting or burning anything
    • What you CAN'T see on the picture is that the "half dark" toast setting will give you blackened toast, which means you need to try to precisely position the dial in this ridiculously narrow 30 degree range
    • So it is a guessing game every morning to set it where I want for a proper toasting.
    • I have baked fish in it as well as toasting everything I can think of!
    • I burned toast a bunch of times and it even caught on fire once
    • Both of the units I purchased have timers that don’t work and on toast mode we almost burnt the house down, not just burnt toast
    • This toaster over works great but it gets hot and will burn your toast if you don't watch it
    • It does work as a dehydrator but rock hard toast isn’t what we like
    • So hard to determine the settings, at times it would burn the toast then other times it wouldn’t burn the toast 🤷‍♀️
    • It makes perfect toast (better than any toaster I've ever had), and use it a lot to heat leftovers, bake biscuits, pizza, etc.
    • Have only used it for toast so far, and find it hard to set the timer to get perfect toast
    • It regularly burns our toast but today was the final straw when it set my toast on FIRE
    • Frozen toast toasts easier than fresh.
    • Using under the half black option (image of toast with diagonal showing half is black) you got either very dark toast or no toast at all
    • It makes noise like one from the 1970s and either toasted too much or too little despite adjusting the dials
    • Does not have a clear toast function that can be set in minutes or darkness
    • The range for toast was really narrow and it is very difficult to get nice browned but not burnt toast
    • SO SMALL IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO ADJUST THE DIFFERENT CHOICES FROM WARM, TOAST AND BAKE
    • Frozen toast toasts easier than fresh.
    • I mainly use it as a toasterIn the beguinning was burning the breadFinally I managed to read the instructionsIn a veryshort time my toasts are perfect
    • It also burned toast really quickly
    • The toasting is stronger too, no need to set darkness as high as old appliance
    • It does work as a dehydrator but rock hard toast isn’t what we like
    • Works exactly as I need it to.
    • It seems to work as you might expect for the price, except the cord is 23 inches long, so you'd better have an outlet on the counter near where you plan to park it.
