So far it seems to be working well, the elastic has plenty of strength to support the heavy microphone in this orientation.

The shock mount works well for being an aftermarket piece.

This shock mount has worked very well for me with my Yeti mic

The tightening screw that bends the unit up and down works very well, was able to hold my mount in a horizontal position without much play.

totally happy with the shock mount does a pretty decent job keeping the vibrations out of the mic or down to a minimum my only complaint is the usb cord pushes against the metal plates of the shock mount but isnt too big of a problem i can live with it and im very happy about the mount works great with my blue

I’m going 4 stars because the item is good quality and working, but docking a star because if plumbers tape is needed, it should be provided
