It made my expensive mic sound crappy

I have a recording sound proof room, a very nice mic (according to the internet and reviews

"blue microphones lcicle xlr to usb mic converter/mic preamp" easy to use with blue microphones baby bottle cardioid condenser microphone.

Guitar center told me the only way to connect my mic to my computer was either an expensive converter box or a usb mic

its good, but i believe using the preamps would be better, because through this blue icicle, it still doesnt sound as clear as how the mic should sound like

Now I just plug my favorite mic into my "Blue Icicle" and I am recording

I have a Behringer condenser mic, about the least expensive mic you can find, but it sounded great before and it sounds great through the blue icicle.

It works wonders, the only downside is my mic looked like a vibrator wand.

I tried it with my Rode Procaster Dynamic Mic and could not get high enough levels without practically yelling into the mic

Plug it in, plug in your mic, and twist the knob till you get the sound quality you want

Well I always wanted to buy a expensive Mic but didnt want to spend $200 more on a USB Pre-

The whole thing lights up blue when it's plugged in, so if you love blue, this mic's for you.

I use a low budget dynamic mic and the Icicle gives the right boost for PC recording

your mic and your Mac anywhere and record easily and the quality is pretty darned good too.

Nice, clean, "transparent" sound without much coloring with my Electrovoice stage mic

so maybe Blue Mic has corrected that issue

Buy this for that skype and stuff if you already have a mic but for real just buy a headset with attached mic because then you still have a adequate mic and Headphones most likely for the same price as this Icicle

The mic preamp works fine if your looking for something cheap, and reliable, works fine for me, have had no problems

Can't get much out of this tool other than making an expensive mic sound no better than a cellphone headset mic

It sounded like the right solution for using an XLR mic on my laptop and/or PC.

so maybe Blue Mic has corrected that issue

I do have a condenser mic, but don't like its style.
