This snowball on the other hand in gloss black is extremely slick and blends in yet slightly stands out with its cool design
-
For me the Blue Snowball easily outperformed the Logitech headset I had previously used, but the sound still wasn't to the standard I would expect of a professional grade microphone

the Blue Snowball Microphone met, but certainly did not exceed my expectations.

The Snowball rejects this noise and all I hear is her voice, loud and clear over the chat
-
The Snowball is great for doing YT videos, podcasts, and gaming
-
Overall, I highly recommend the Blue Snowball for beginners to audio recording or for casual users (video game commentary, simple podcasts, etc.) for its price and simplicity.
-
If you have a very loud voice or you're recording amplified musical instruments, the Snowball might work well for you
-
Outside of the audio quality it does have some pros, you can mute it, you can plug your headphones into it, you can adjust gain, but overall I just find the Blue Snowball the better, cheaper, and more compact option
-
The blue snowball isn't super expensive for a mic but has quite the professional sounding quality that you'd want
-
I have used my white snowball for over 5 years now and i love it
-
Along with the beautiful complexities in my voice, the Snowball is also picking up some creaking from the chair under my butt and the gentle "sub-woofer" tones next to my feet
-
I've had mine for awhile now and really love my snowball - it is not top of the line but its not crap either
-
I'm a big fan of products that do what they say they will do, and the Blue Snowball delivers as promised

Amazon is, it would seem, deliberately and deceptively switching out purchased Blue Snowball microphones with the cheaper and inferior Blue Snowball iCE in place of it's more sophisticated counterpart
-
The snowball completely destroy the overpriced Logitech POS that I was using before in regards to sound quality
-
If you don't have a studio-quality soundproof booth, I recommend the Snowball over the Yeti.
-
I would definitely recommend a Snowball for anyone looking for a nice microphone that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
-
I started with the Blue Snowflake and, to be honest, didn't notice any difference in the sound of the spoken voice with the more expensive Blue Snowball microphone
-

You won't get that warmth unless you get really close but at that point you will get plosives (B or S hissing sounds) even with a pop filter.
-
When I initially bought the microphone, I liked it, but after using it for about 15 weeks, I notice an intermittant audio cut that follows the microphone, and is present on my Mac in both Garage Band and Audacity, as well as on my Windows 8 PC in Audacity
-
I use it to record my podcasts as well as with Skype
