I didn't know what was the problem but the good thing is that it worked

This is a great thing to get if you're in the market for a nice little mic to sit on your desk and sound great when you need it, and look great when you don't.

Out of curiosity and hearing some good things I decided to give the Snowball a chance and I am surprised

Only thing, the recording levels usually are pretty quiet, so be aware to check your levels.

Oh and one weird thing.

Just buy another one, because this thing is garbage and not a smart choice to support a mic that is (a) fairly heavy, and (b) very round

3 dampens the amount of dB coming through, mainly used for recording things that are very loud and bassy, i.e. live music, so that there isn't any crackling and things like that

I use it for doing voice over on films and this thing is very, very good.

This thing is pretty good

However, the quality of your voice is significantly better than any gaming headset I've used and when there isn't a lot around you, this thing really shines.

It is solidly constructed and I have heard several podcasts where this thing sounds amazing,but for me it just didn't work.

Its quite a bit lighter, and I have no doubt what so ever that knocking the USB cord would cause the whole thing to tip over and smash into the ground

I am not a professional, but this thing is just great for voice

And the thing works awesome with both my MacBook air (Mavericks) and my Windows 8.1 PC

The nice thing about this mic is that it works with almost any program

Another cool thing is the 3 setting switch that's in the back of the microphone so you can tweak it for your style

The nice thing is, the noise it picks up is also clear

Aside from the great performance, this thing looks like a prop from the movie Metropolis

I borrowed my friends mic to record some thing and absolutely LOVED IT!!

Take out the 4 screws holding the thing together and carefully pull the thing apart without letting everything fall out (the important stuff is near the front so the best thing you can do is have that facing downward as you open it)

Based on the price/performance I can not say enough good things about my BLUE

While this microphone picks up every single sound and is great quality, that is not a good thing when you are podcasting or recording in your house.

I was looking at other microphones and decided on getting this as it wasn't too expensive and heard great things about it.

I am sure that a pro would want something better, but for the typical consumer at home just wanting to Skype with decent audio, or record their voice or more, this thing is great

Man, this thing is amazing

I record audio for professional training and development programs, and when I can't work in a studio, this thing gives me flawless audio reproduction just connected to my notebook.

Therefore, things like overdubbing a sound track using Audacity are difficult or impossible using my current computer that needs a competent USB microphone when external wired speakers or headphones are simultaneously connected with a microphone..

Great quality and the ability to use iPod ear buds for sound instead of a headset with a mic is a great thing also

After buying this microphone I found a lot of people who also use it, and everyone had good things to say

But once I started to use it for recording audio, the thing really works

I won't lie though, it took me a few hours to figure out how to get this thing to work with Mixcraft 5 and now the trials and efforts I poured through seem like an embaressement now that I just plug in and go

The included stand is a worthless little thing that will aggravate the hell out of you

Only negative thing about this mic is the little red light in the front that lets you know it is on is a tad bright

Though the mic sounds great, the only thing you can change is the microphone volume via recording device properties, the rest is done merely with a switch on the back of the mic that has 3 modes.

Only thing I dislike is the lack of an output other than USB, but that isn't what this microphone is intended for anyway.

I like the different things you can do with it

The volume is at a reasonable level, the p's and t's are clear, and the background noise is minimal

I love t, it works really well for what I am using it for, video narration.
