Really great quality microphone, but I have to take off a star because the included USB cable was DOA.

With the shock mount any noise from moving the mic during use is very minimal and no more keyboard key noise that I used to have with my old desk top microphone.

HOWEVER it is just about perfect for anyone needing a good, not-quite-professional-but-Im-no-filthy-casual microphone.

I do have more expensive shotgun microphones and they may produce a marginally better signal, but when a good clean, strong audio stream can be tweaked in software if necessary, the Yeti more than serves its purpose
