Bodum 11750-01US Bistro Burr Coffee Grinder, One Size, Black

    • This is so far my favorite coffee grinder
    • Every morning it was cleaning loose coffee grinds that flew and fell all over the floor and my kitchen counter
    • It is probably the worst coffee grinder I have ever bought.
    • Other than tendency to "leak" ground coffee all over your counter this is an easy to use grinder that gives a very uniform grind.
    • It's small enough to fit anywhere really, but it's large enough to be able to grind coffee for a full size French Press with no trouble.it's a little over half as much as the deluxe version and the major differences are that you don't have something to set the grinding time and the collection unit is made out of plastic not borosilicate so you do have to do with static holding causing your coffee to cling to it
    • The conical grinder produces the best possible tasting coffee, but the static created and the plastic container leaves quite a mess to clean up on the counter top!
    • And because of "static" spews coffee chaff all over the place and is a mess to clean
    • I will be getting rid of it, very poor design, no lid on the container for the ground coffee
    • It takes me longer to wipe up all the loose grounds in and around the grinder than it does to actually grind the coffee.
    • Unless you can keep really good track of how much coffee is being ground, maybe time timing it, you'll have to measure the ground coffee for consistent brewing results.
    • It clogged very easily to the point that you had to disassemble it every daily or every other day to dig out the stuck grounds and reseat the burr in order to grind coffee
    • The last thing I want to do in the morning is clean up spilled coffee
    • we wasted coffee and made yucky
    • Also, our coarsely ground dark roast coffee—with its surface oils, I guess—clogged the exit from the grinder to the cup
    • It does grind coffee
    • Every time I use it, it sprays perfectly ground coffee all over the counter and the static electricity between the grinder and grounds cup ensures that a little bit more will get stuck to the outside of the grinder
    • Simply, medium roast and heaven forbid dark roasted coffees will clog this thing by looking at it
    • Then, when you pull the bin out the loose ground coffee dumps out on the counter
    • So when you grind the coffee, the coffee grounds tend to shoot out through the cracks and it gets everywhere.
    • Overall a good product since it grinds coffee very well
    • This is a good coffee grinder in terms of grind quality (I use a medium coarse grind for the french press), speed, and noise
    • Still got "ground" coffee that looks like I coarsely chopped them with a knife.
    • Works great grinding coffee to specifications
    • It seems to grind coffee much faster
    • The cup doesn't fit well, so ground coffee falls behind it making a mess and making it even harder to fit
    • To change the grind size on the 11750 you twist the clear coffee bean holder at the top rather than trying to force the red dial for size
    • I got this grinder to replace a similarly priced mr coffee grinder that had failed after five years of daily use
    • This grinds great coffee and is easy to clean
    • If the possibility of having a grinder that will quit on you isn't enough to make you pause, you should know that the receptacle that catches the ground coffee conducts static -- when you pull it out to get the coffee, fine coffee dust sticks to the front surface of the grinder.
    • So, no matter what, this will spray coffee grinds all over your kitchen
    • Every morning it was cleaning loose coffee grinds that flew and fell all over the floor and my kitchen counter
    • Does not grind the coffee in a fine ground
    • Too messy by far for everyday use, and grinding enough coffee for a week burned out the motor.
    • The only reason its not 5 stars is that it sometime causes ground coffee to leak out around the top and it gets all over the counter
    • Works efficiently, medium noise, holds enough coffee, but the receptacle and the body don't match super well and there are staticky coffee grounds everywhere each time I use it.
    • This grinds great coffee and is easy to clean
    • My only complaint is that it’s a bit difficult to clean thoroughly and the coffee grinds chamber (where the grinds collect) is a kind of awkward shape, making it difficult to get the grinds out of without spilling.
    • Both are adjustable and produce good coffee
    • The burr setting moves when in operation - messy static coffee everywhere like glitter - the 'on the hopper' lid instructions conflict with the manual instructions making it a science project to make coffee - trial and
    • If you are grinding enough coffee to brew a big pot of coffee (8-10 cups), you will have to empty the cup halfway through the amount of beans needed for that
    • but it blew coffee everywhere due to what I think is a design flaw
    • It's easy to make adjustments to the grind to get the coffee just as coarse or as fine as you like.
    • Bodum makes great coffee grinders.
    • Amazingly, I kinda dig that as I really dislike dark roast coffees regardless.
    • The worst coffee grinder I've every used
    • It's easy to make adjustments to the grind to get the coffee just as coarse or as fine as you like.
    • If you are grinding enough coffee to brew a big pot of coffee (8-10 cups), you will have to empty the cup halfway through the amount of beans needed for that
    • It takes up a bit of space on your counter, but it's worth it for freshly-ground coffee.
    • Every time I grind the coffee, I have to wipe the counter as well
    • Too messy by far for everyday use, and grinding enough coffee for a week burned out the motor.
