So if I grind every day, every week or 2 I have to shake and bang the machine for about 5 minutes in all different directions to dump out the grinds stuck inside

All around a lousy machine.

This machine did not work at all

This one grinds perfectly for the Flair espresso maker and it is a decently picky machine when it comes to the grind so it should work with most machines out there.

Will not recommend this machine.

For example, for french press, some of the grounds are as fine as for Turkish coffee and some of the grounds are as big as 1/6 of a bean.

It grinds the beans exactly as I like them
