Bodum Brazil French Press Coffee Maker, 34 Ounce, 1 Liter, (8 Cup), Black

    • (I only drink 1 cup a day and have a Bodum New Kenya 12oz one for that) but for making 4 servings of loose GREEN TEA which I put into 4 separate glass bottles and have for 4 days at a time.
    • Bodum makes excellent French Presses, I wish I had purchased two of these (one for my loose leaf tea and the other for my coffee)!
    • They are fantastic for loose tea as well
    • I also use it a lot for brewing loose-leaf tea!
    • When I've had my two cups of hot tea - I put this press in the refrig and drink the remaining tea iced later in the day.
    • I really love it for making loose herbal tea.
    • Best tea making device ever
    • I use it for coffee, loose tea, and espresso
    • Brews some damn good coffee and thai tea, but it does leak from the bottom when it's not packed with coffee or tea leaves
    • Might even buy for my loose tea.
    • Put it the loose tea, steep, press and voila!
    • grounds.(Side note: my press pulls double duty to steep tea and works well.)
    • My green tea is never bitter when I make it with this press.
    • Works for both loose tea as well as coffee.
    • I poured hot water in, and when I came back thinking my tea would be ready, the tea was only half the amount it should have been
    • I bet it would also be great for loose tea.
    • I usually make 24oz of lose leaf tea daily and this makes it so I can make all 24oz at once
    • Sitting in your perfect tea or coffee boiling, hot water
    • But my primary use for this, the reason I decided to buy it, is for making a very strong tea mixture that I then carry to work in a Nalgene and mix with ice and water to drink it all day
    • I bought this second one for loose tea
    • No more making multiple cups with the little metal ball thing which doesn't strain tea very well
    • The size allows me to entertain guest with my fancy brewed coffee or tea
    • I love fresh tea and coffee/ these seem to bring out the best in both!
    • Bought this years ago to make loose leaf teas in
    • No problems here, everything fits together nicely, it strains out coffee and tea exactly as you might like
    • I use this to may my organic loose leaf Green Tea.
    • I use it mostly for making tea with loose tea leaves and then pour it from this into my teapot
    • the size is perfect! if you drink lots of loose leaf tea or coffee this will reduce your constant preparation time quite a bit
    • Use it primarily for loose leaf tea and occasionally for coffee when we have guests
    • I put tea or ground coffee in the bottom, fill it up with boiling water, let it sit about 6 minutes, push the plunger down, and the brew comes out delicious
    • Works great for making loose leaf tea or coffee
    • I have been using this with loose tea and it saves the wasted paper of teabags
    • I am used to large mugs of Brown Gold, so this size disappoints as to quantity filling only 75% of one 12 oz mug, which may be OK for you if you add creamer or milk, but I have been taking mine black for nearly a year now
    • It broke as I was putting the handle back over the rim, and did a little damage to me
    • Works as I knew it would
    • The coffee grounds only need to be coarse ground as to not clog the filter.
    • So I’m really confused as to why it is advertised as an 8 cup.
