I followed the instructions step by step multiple times and no matter what I always have coffee grinds

the coffee grinds would all float to the bottom instead of the top

Key to French press coffee is ensuring the grind is large enough that the coffee grinds will be held down by the metal screen, thus avoiding finding them in your coffee

You need not worry about getting a mouthful of coffee grinds when using this press, it does a great job keeping the grounds at bay.

It doesn't really filter out more of the coffee grind than others I've used

best french press i've had...unlike most french press, no coffee grinds are filtered into the cup.

Brewing coffee in this French Press makes for one smooth cup o' joe.
