We use it daily and it has been fun dialing in just the right temp for different coffees, teas, herbal beverages, etc

In short, if you are wanting to use this kettle for precise temps, you may want to look further

But what I really do not like is that when the temp goes off, there's absolutely NO insulation, so the temp drops like a stone, and then proceeds to take forever to heat up again

Set it to boil to 200 deg F, gets up there really fast and holds the temp if you'd like (I tend to set and forget until I have a spare moment to make my coffee)
