If you want unabtrusive speakers to provide clean and spacious background music with a decent base response these are perfect (Eagles, Carley Simon, Joni Mitchel, Miles Davis etc.)

If I buy something to plug in my old Pioneer receiver to enjoy music, I would never buy this pair

Yet, when I lower the bass, I hear pristine clear quality music.

The music sounds good pretty much no matter where you are in the room

If you plan on using these for anything but soft background music, then you will need to add a sub woofer.

They are very neutral, edging just barely to the warm side of things with my oldie but goodie Pioneer receiver allowing for a surprisingly full sounding speaker that still delivers crisp clean music to my loving ears.

Music sounds very good, movies are acceptable (not great)

I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone who loves music!

Cd players getting stuck and static on the speakers is not how I used to enjoy music when listening to Pioneer equipment
