If you can find them on sale for under hundred they would be a great pick up, but otherwise past on these and Polk Audio, Klipsch are better price/performance.

I bought them for $20 years ago because they "didn't look like much" and I have to say if you see some at a decent price remotely near that, just buy them and put them to work.

So if you want quality for the correct price, just go for it but, If you are expecting better sound and high fidelity technology for a cheapest price belief me, I can't recommend nothing

For the reasonable price I was very impressed with the sound output and quality

I've read some critisism for the Bose 161 speakers at the moment when the reviewers are saying they can't have enought bass sound, and the same I'm reading for those that are writting about the "cheapper" components for Bose brand with its expensive prices
