The smaller Sonos speakers do not have headphone output, which limits its usefulness as an auxiliary speaker, which the SoundTouch 10 can do

For the the price I would not recommend this speaker

The speakers did not work from the start and when Bose released an update to their app software, they lost multiroom functionality that worked OK with Bluethooth to where they don't function correctly at all now for the past 3-4 months with Wifi on a home network being the only option to link them all

I was really excited about this because I wanted the same functionality that Sonos has which is the ability to use the speaker as an alarm and TTS

it's a good speaker system for just attaching an MP3 player or Bluetooth phone to for music

so I can't comment on how it works as a zoned speaker, but I would assume this would work fine

Despite my negative impression I'll keep this product because a) sound quality is good, b) I have a device I can dedicate via Bluetooth streaming and leave within range, and c) because the product is unobtrusive, as good speakers should be.

For a tech Luddite like me, it was just amazing to hear that great, fat Bose sound, as well as be able to access the thousands of world-wide internet radio stations.
