So I was happy to find a compact Bose unit to fill the gap left by my older stereo equipment

The unit works in concert with the SmartTouch app designed for smartphones and tablets.

GREAT sound but aweful software and bluetooth auto shutdownIf BOSE would listen and fix the STUPID auto shut down and Bluetooth disconnect they would have my business and all my co workers and PROFESSIONAL musician colleagues as well!!!!I returned it and got a Peachtree Deepblue,sound quality slightly less good but good solid Bluetooth connection and unit STAYS ON connected ,unlike the stupid BOSE auto shut down and auto dis connect

The sound quality is amazing and this unit gets LOUD

So, in balance, for a bedroom it's a very good unit

Since they can be paired, if the units were not Bose-expensive, I would buy a couple more for other rooms

The other 25% is thinking the unit is defective, so another will work better.

But I feel it could be better for it's size compared to other great sounding units

This unit is really easy to set up -- I just downloaded the Sound Touch app and it guided me through the setup

But the units have connectivity problems and the app doesnt always work well.

The build-quality appears first-class, the units are smart, compact and have a lovely white on black LED display

The unit and the sound are great, but unfortunately, the app makes this, and the Soundtouch 10 that I own, pretty much unusable.

All in all I like this a lot better than Sonos
