Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones - Apple devices, Frost

    • The sound quality is great with a surprisingly good bass with clear mids and crisp highs
    • bass is weak.
    • these sound very good, fairly full sound and decent bass.
    • It didn't create a seal in my ear, the bass was a lot weaker, and the highs were not as pronounced - overall a much flatter sound (and goofy colors)
    • Solid bass
    • I suppose that’s a dated joke). The Bose sound is its usual magnificent self, with clean highs and profound bass
    • SE215Great balanced sound; strong bass; low impedance; long and strong cord, ability to replace only the cord if broken
    • The smooth sound signature is really good for long listening sessions and don't cause fatigue like some of my super bass biased, hard hitting headphones
    • These headphones sound absolutely fantastic, with amazing bass and mids; however, they stopped working after 7 or 8 months due to the crappy wire design
    • However, the bass on the Soundtrue was much weaker
    • They had the best bass of any earbud I have ever used (and I've used... lots), but also very good clarity of mids and highs (rare for earbuds with good bass)
    • I like my music to have some bass and was initially afraid the bass won't be sufficient on
    • just the bass not enough IMO.
    • As I suspected, they are lacking in good quality bass, it is just not very strong when using the default player on my smartphone.
    • The bass isn't very loud, they don't cancel out as much sound as i would like in public places, it blocks out alot just was hoping for a little more (in a small rooms its perfect) and they also don't stay in very well if your doing sports or running
    • Here is my short review:SE535Fantastic balanced sound; great bass and low-end; low-enough impedance; long and strong cord, ability to replace only the cord if broken
    • The B&W C5s which I mentioned in my original review below (similar price range, $179), have very impressive sub-bass but muddy certain types of music and lose clarity
    • No distortion, clear, highs and mid range with impeccable bass
    • The bass is very impressive, but not muddy
    • Here is my short review:SE535Fantastic balanced sound; great bass and low-end; low-enough impedance; long and strong cord, ability to replace only the cord if broken
    • I was looking for something with a high end and more defined base but not overpowering bass, not these Bose.
    • Every footstep sounds like a bass drum kick - BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
    • Bass is better than I expected and max volume is just fine for me
    • and I can increase the bass response the sound quality does improve, but that does require 3rd party software.
    • Why can't anyone seem to make wired headphones that are moderately unsealed and have good bass, full sound, without the Stethoscope feeling?I may try the sony MDRAS800AP.
    • The bass is clean, but not strong enought for my taste
    • Actually, the bass blew me away for in-ear headphones, as that is usually the weak spot in them
    • The sound was good, better bass than Apple, and fit was OK.
    • The Bose phones have neither the richest bass response nor the shimmering top end, but what they have hands-down over the other phones is amazing clarity and superior gain - even compared to some full over the ear headphone phones I own
    • Sound - these have to be atmost 75% of max volume of most other earbuds and the bass is fairly poor
    • Although the lows are still clear and detailed, they aren't for people who like a fun, punchy bass
    • In comparison, I purchased the Bower & Wilkins C5 S2 ($50 more, so not an apples to apples comparison!) and the clarity, bass, soundstage were all much better
    • It's a rich sound with strong bass and superb range
    • The bass is not booming
    • The bass is good but if your looking for earphones with punching bass then I don't think these are for you
    • The way they work, they can't have tight "coupling", so they wiggle around in your ear canal and have weak bass
    • They didn't fall out with the wings in place and they had bass.
    • It sounds clear but the bass is weak, and the soundstage is just bleh
    • SoundTrue Ultra has the great sound I expect from Bose-- fine bass and acoustics
    • However, its bass isn't very clear and can distort the mids sometimes
    • Crappy bass and the max volume is just disapointing .Despite the sound quality, the build is just "okay"
    • The bass however, was lacking (will get to that later)
    • These are for actually enjoying music, beautiful vocals, punchy bass and clean highs
    • (don’t get me wrong, I love bass, but not overall muddiness)
    • The bass is very dynamic, and sounds really smooth
    • their sound has always been good & full, good bass too, better than everything else i tried.
    • I went to a Bose store today and tried these as well as the Bose Soundtrue Around Ear Headphones II, and I picked these (the Ultra in-earphones).I read reviews about these that the volume isn't loud enough, and that the bass isn't as boosted as other headphones
    • Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear STIEGreat balanced sound; strong bass; short and thin/flimsy cord; includes iPhone controls
    • The bass is decent but could be a bit stronger
    • These Bose, while still maintaining the stunning sound, have amazing bass for an in-ear pair of headphones and have a very true-to-recording sound
    • Good bass, not punchy, but very present
    • However, its bass isn't very clear and can distort the mids sometimes
    • SE425Fantastic mid-range, poor bass and low-end; low impedance; long and strong cord; ability to replace only the cord if broken
    • Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
    • And yes the cord sucks as it is very noisy
    • These work!- Sound is amazing.- Blocks out sound so that people can't hear what you hear so play it as loud as
    • I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
