After buying my first pair of Bose soundtrue earphones, 2 years ago, and coming to enjoy them so much, I only buy Bose products (earphones, headphones, Bluetooth speakers) and so far every product has met or exceeded my expectations for sound quality
The product from Best Buy was very good, typical of Bose quality
They used to make good products but now its just all about screwing the customer with cost savings moves to keep their margins high and make the product junk
I don't know how such a bad product got past quality control
I think they're a great product, you just have to get more used to them at first (
The sound quality is fantastic, well balanced with plenty of bass and clear crisp highs.
Here is my short review:SE535Fantastic balanced sound; great bass and low-end; low-enough impedance; long and strong cord, ability to replace only the cord if broken
Since this version is for Apple, control buttons do not work on my Google Pixel phone, however, I just love the sound quality!Super crisp, bass, mid and high is just right - so well balanced
These work!- Sound is amazing.- Blocks out sound so that people can't hear what you hear so play it as loud as
Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
If u want to enjoy pure music with this earphone, u have to be very still lol
These effects are so loud that they overpower the music
I'm not an audiophile, but I certainly love loud music with good setup
The sound quality is great, but you can't move at all because the cord rubbing on your shirt will cause more noise in your ears than the music, unless the music is fairly loud
Any movement could be heard, no matter how loud the music was

these sound very good, fairly full sound and decent bass.
SoundTrue Ultra has the great sound I expect from Bose-- fine bass and acoustics
The sound quality is great with a surprisingly good bass with clear mids and crisp highs
The sound was good, better bass than Apple, and fit was OK.
These earphones have a nice modern design as the wires look the same as the previous soundtrue's but have a T like wire splitter
First, for what it's worth, their construction feels exceptionally poor -- the plastic feels cheap and delicate, as if it could easily break, and the cord feels cheap.
The wire has a smooth plastic feeling (so cheap) and it is extremely loud if it touches anything
I was very disappointed to find that this newer model that cost $50 more is inferior to the older model that I have:- sound quality is poor- uncomfortable in ear- wires are stiff and not pliable.- the slitter (i.e. plastic part that splits the single wire into two) is odd shape and make wires that go to ears hang in front of my face
I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
When sound is playing, the cable noise isn't a real issue, but when its not, it becomes annoying.
If I was a jogger the noise isolation can be an issue since it blocks out extraneous noises coming form traffic.. the stereo separation is fantastic, the balance of sound is excellent.
The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
First off, they completely seal around the inside of your ear: which might be a plus for some people as far as sound quality (and they do still sound good), but it creates an uncomfortable pressure issue if you don't put them in just right
This issue wouldn't be all that terrible if the product was made with a high quality "rubber" plastic coating; however you can tell it's the type of plastic that will not last as it's already turinin light grey at the stress points (at the T where the links split going into each ear)The sound quality is clear for music which is why I'm giving it a second star the first is for the comfortable ear pieces which actually help eliminate the outside sounds that could disrupt your music
The weird shape of the ear tips didn't stay in my ears at all

But my biggest gripe is with the annoying T-shape where the cord splits into two
It's most distinctive feature is its unusual shape of the inner ear piece designed to provide a comfortably snug fit even when you are jogging full speed on a treadmill.
Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
They block out most background noise making them great for loud place a or when I want to focus.
As for the soundtrue ultra's I can hear every note with only a little background noise on the bus
I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
pieces isolate enough background noise that i don't find i miss the noise cancelling feature of the qc20s - and the driver is much smaller than the sound
