• Reviews around isolation (3.39 of 5)

Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones - Apple devices, Frost

    • great sound and isolation, love 'em, hope they last long
    • Good sound isolation.
    • Very comfortable silicone tips that provide great noise isolation, but you can hear the cord touching against any surface
    • Something is wrong because you can hear your foot steps echoed in the headphones as you walk.- Sound isolation because of the new ear plug is bad
    • Also outside sound isolation while being good, great actually on this model boarderlining noise reduction units
    • The super tight seal provides excellent isolation to outside noise
    • Comfy, good sound, strong noise isolation.
    • For those looking for superb noise isolation, these are a no-go
    • Very comfortable behind-the-ear cord and position on the ear with great noise isolation
    • Isolation is great
    • They're fairly comfortable, and they provide adequate noise isolation
    • However, with that isolation comes excessive cable noise.
    • The sound isolation distorts the way things sound (the underwater effect mentioned above)
    • I needed great sound quality as well as decent noise isolation
    • Very comfortable behind-the-ear cord and position on the ear with great noise isolation
    • Very comfortable behind-the-ear cord and position on the ear with great noise isolation
    • The isolation was great; HOWEVER, it was almost too good that any time the wires rubbed against anything, you could hear the sound transfer up the wire and into your ear.
    • good sound and fair isolation but be aware its only for Android not for IOS
    • Sound isolation is good, but the sound quality is definitely inferior to the Sport model for $30 less.
    • The isolation is fantastic
    • This also means it has passive isolation
    • great sound and noise isolation
    • A very good noise isolation
    • They do create a nice, noice isolation and enhance the full range of music; however, the seal created by the headphones creates an annoying echo (microphonics-like) when you breathe or make contact with the cord
    • The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
    • Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
    • And yes the cord sucks as it is very noisy
    • These work!- Sound is amazing.- Blocks out sound so that people can't hear what you hear so play it as loud as
    • I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
    • These earphones have a nice modern design as the wires look the same as the previous soundtrue's but have a T like wire splitter
    • What is with the T separation where the wires split
    • The ONLY things I'm not thrilled with is that they changed the plug-in from L-shaped to I-shaped and that the spot where the buds split is a weird T-shape as opposed to the traditional Y-split
    • Although the ambient noise cancellation works and range of the in-ear speakers are excellent in bass, mid-range, and highs, the seemingly cheap quality of the headset cords picks up a LOT of noise when you touch it or when it brushes up against you while listening- this most noticeable above the T-connector area where the wire splits into the two cables
    • The “T” cable splitter as opposed to your standard “Y” split is unbelievably annoying
    • The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
