Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones - Apple devices, Frost

    • So it is a sure bet that if I am on the computer designing a layout for an advertisement or the like I will be enjoying the latest film or true crime podcast and a great pair of headphones is a must for not disturbing my fellow coworkers.
    • It can be a nuisance sometimes when exercising, but the clip on the cable can reduce the noise (although not fully).Overall, the Bose Soundtrue Ultra is a great-sounding headphone suited for people who want a comfortable pair of headphones with a clear, detailed sound on all music genres (although this sometimes sacrifices depth and dimension)
    • Let me explain them point by point:First I'll talk about the highly USER UNFRIENDLY aspects of these grossly overpriced pair of wires:1
    • so I will try a different pair but these disappointed me
    • But if you want good pair of earphones to wear at work for long durations, these are great
    • These are the most secure pair of earbuds I've ever used, as most of the other ones always fall out of my ear when running
    • I have had 2 pairs and they both split in the same
    • so I ordered another pair from Amazon online and that pair also failed but this time within 3 months in both cases the right earbuds wire connecting to the media controls was loosening and eventually all audio in the right earbud in both just stopped functioning
    • Well, I lost my pair last week and they are discontinued
    • I previously own a pair of Sennheiser Momentum earbuds but it broke after a few years
    • and I have had to go back to my old Bose that I have had for years and managed to get electrical tape around the frayed wires until I can find a suitable replacement pair
    • I have 3 sets of Bose headphones (bluetooth, Soundsport, and over the ear), as well as two pairs of stereo
    • Additionally, the cables transfer sound from rubbing on a jacket, or even the breeze outside - something I'd expect from a cheap pair of headphones, not ones that cost so much - which is a disappointment given how good then sound when I'm stationary.
    • I had a pair of Bose IE2 headphones for several years and loved them, but the cord got badly frayed near the ear
    • Well, I lost my pair last week and they are discontinued
    • I exchanged my old pair of Mie2i for these since the cable wore out after a year of very intensive use - the old pair had been great, the customer service was great
    • I have owned every model of Bose earbuds,(except noise cancelling) more than a dozen pairs over the past 7-8 years
    • These do block out more sound, but I'm not sure they're ultimately going to be as comfortable as the old pair.
    • This is actually the second pair I have purchased because I lost the first pair at a rock show in Salem MA
    • Until I compared the product with an older pair of headphones I had, this pair "hissed"
    • A great pair of headphones
    • So it is a sure bet that if I am on the computer designing a layout for an advertisement or the like I will be enjoying the latest film or true crime podcast and a great pair of headphones is a must for not disturbing my fellow coworkers.
    • These are more expensive and not nearly as good as my previous pair
    • It's definitely not as good as my old Shure pair
    • Miss my previous pair.
    • The first pair was good
    • Still hoping they will be as good as the pair I purchased two or three years ago, and used daily.
    • I've been a Bose earbud user for years, and when I saw these (after losing my previous pair), I thought, "cool!
    • I've received a defective pair- twice
    • Best pair of In-ear headphones Bose has made yet.
    • I take good care of my earbuds, the fact that such an expensive pair would break so easily makes me feel like this product is not worth it at all.
    • These feel just a little better than the cheap pairs you get for free when you fly
    • Lost my previous pair of soundtrue ultra, so I had to order another!
    • I would have assumed I got a defective pair, if not for the other reviews.
    • i am convinced i received a FAKE PAIR
    • Don't know if it was just a bad pair or if the entire product line is this way.
    • I had a similar pair of Bose $99 in-ear headphones two years ago that I lost, and I finally decided to re-up.
    • Otherwise, its a great pair of headphones.
    • Super disappointed as my last pair lasted two years!
    • These are more expensive and not nearly as good as my previous pair
    • You can still find original MIE2i's on ebay for around $50 and with the addition of the eartips (which can be purchased from Bose) you have a pair of headphones just like the New Soundtrue Ultra's for half the cost
    • Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
    • And yes the cord sucks as it is very noisy
    • These work!- Sound is amazing.- Blocks out sound so that people can't hear what you hear so play it as loud as
    • I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
    • The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
