I do agree with others who say the cord noise can be annoying, but don't find it to be a major issue

The cords in previous Bose in-ear headphones were my favorite feature - never any cord noise.

Also, they have terrible cord noise, you'll hear it with every move you make.

In conclusion: the good sound produced by these headphones, and their comfort, are vastly overshadowed by a poor-quality build, cord noise, low volume, and subpar noise isolation.

But the output is low and seems far away, and the rustling cord noise is unpleasant

but I give it 3/5 because of the cord noise

I would say 1 star because the cord noise is just downright unacceptable, but they get an extra star because - in fairness - the speakers on these things still are quite good

The primary complaint I see in reviews here is cord noise.

Like many buds, there is a significant amount of cord noise (i.e. noise the cord makes as it flaps around).

They actually sound pretty good but as others have stated there is really no bass at all, the cord noise is awful and they do not have a very high volume level

The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
