Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones - Apple devices, Frost

    • I hear my own breathing, the rustling of the cheap plastic wire and every other vibration around me
    • The wire has a smooth plastic feeling (so cheap) and it is extremely loud if it touches anything
    • Sound like cheap $10 headphones and cheap plastic too
    • First, for what it's worth, their construction feels exceptionally poor -- the plastic feels cheap and delicate, as if it could easily break, and the cord feels cheap.
    • However, the plastic on the ear bud snapped on me within 12 hours of owning the product, rendering the headphones useless, after a gentle tug on the cord when I reached for something just outside of the reach of the speaker cord length
    • I was very disappointed to find that this newer model that cost $50 more is inferior to the older model that I have:- sound quality is poor- uncomfortable in ear- wires are stiff and not pliable.- the slitter (i.e. plastic part that splits the single wire into two) is odd shape and make wires that go to ears hang in front of my face
    • That hard plastic Y seems durable and helps to maintain spacing as the thin left and right wires go up to your ears.
    • The wire has a smooth plastic feeling (so cheap) and it is extremely loud if it touches anything
    • I'm unsure if Bose started to use a cheaper plastic or rubber for the in-ear pieces that is supposed to allow the earphone to remain in your ear
    • The thin leads from each bud eventually join at a hard plastic Y-piece before continuing to the jack.
    • Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
    • And yes the cord sucks as it is very noisy
    • These work!- Sound is amazing.- Blocks out sound so that people can't hear what you hear so play it as loud as
    • I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
    • These earphones have a nice modern design as the wires look the same as the previous soundtrue's but have a T like wire splitter
    • What is with the T separation where the wires split
    • The ONLY things I'm not thrilled with is that they changed the plug-in from L-shaped to I-shaped and that the spot where the buds split is a weird T-shape as opposed to the traditional Y-split
    • Although the ambient noise cancellation works and range of the in-ear speakers are excellent in bass, mid-range, and highs, the seemingly cheap quality of the headset cords picks up a LOT of noise when you touch it or when it brushes up against you while listening- this most noticeable above the T-connector area where the wire splits into the two cables
    • The “T” cable splitter as opposed to your standard “Y” split is unbelievably annoying
    • The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of
