Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones - Apple devices, Frost

    • While I don't regret buying them because of Bose's 30 day no-questions return policy, I do find these headphones very disappointing, and the sound quality isn't even the real issue here
    • However, they were the most ANNOYING headphones I have ever worn.
    • Great headphones overall.
    • Agree, however, that the straight plug in, rather than the L-shaped, is annoying and makes the headphones feel a bit more fragile than other Bose earbuds
    • Typically LOVE Bose products, but these were the biggest piece of junk ever made (the standard apple iphone headphones were better)
    • Awesome headphones, great sound and fit is fabulous.
    • They are probably the most comfortable in-ear headphones I've ever had
    • These headphones are awesome
    • It's very difficult for me to find comfortable in-ear headphones
    • Given its cost, I have decided to just go with less expensive headphones
    • These headphones feel like nothing and do not cause pain in your ears like other bulky headphones from being in your ears for extended periods of time
    • these headphones are unusable and I'll be returning them right away.
    • Amazing headphones for their balanced and neutral sound and durability which survived being wash and dried and still sounded great
    • While these headphones sound fantastic and the fit and noise "isolation" works really well, I can't justify giving them a high rating due to their fragility
    • I was psyched to invest in my first "expensive" headphones, and from the moment I put them
    • Noise Isolation - These headphones block a lot of background noise which is ideal if you're not moving (
    • the same pouch that you get when you order a 25$ cheap headphones
    • Overall great headphones however the design is a little off to negate the cable splittage you'd need to fold them in a specific way to prevent long term decay.
    • I personally like these headphones.
    • and I have owned 2 sports one, This is the first one that had an issue that always find on cheap headphones, you can "feel" the cable, if touch the cable while you have the headphones on your ears you can hear like hum and even movement, the sports and previous models did not have this issue
    • My iPod doesn't use a microphone, and the headphones are really loud even when not plugged into anything
    • He liked them very well, and I finally got sick of crappy earbuds/headphones dying after a couple of months, or sounding like I'm wearing them in the pool...
    • below).Comfortable - These fit very comfortably (probably the most comfortable noise isolating headphones on
    • The noise cancelling headphones did not sound as good as these at first listen with the noise cancelling OFF, but turning it ON made them sound equally as good with no background noise - but I couldn't justify spending twice as much on them
    • These headphones are awesome
    • I don't usually enjoy in-ear headphones
    • I would recommend this to anyone who wants noise canceling headphones but wants to spend half the price.
    • These headphones are not an improvement over earlier models.
    • Obviously not going to be the best audio quality for a pair of budget friendly headphones but Bose has always had my support for best audio quality and crispness at every price range.
    • Quality isn't really any better than any other Chinese manufactured headphone except the price is much higher
    • These headphones have several issues that the others did not.1
    • I'd like this headphone
    • But when I am on the go, running errands, exercising or food shopping, it is time to swap out your cumbersome headphones for a more portable set of earbuds.
    • These headphones are a work of art.
    • These are great noise-isolating headphones
    • However, these headphones are amazing!!
    • I'm not a person that generally buys expensive headphones
    • Aside from the technical concerns I have about the quality of these expensive headphones, they are extremely uncomfortable to wear
    • Overrall good headphones that stay in your ear but not good for the type of music I listen too
    • I had a pair of Klipsch earbuds for 6 years before buying these, and I thought those headphones were the best I'd used until I tried on these Bose, and literally every part was superior; the fit of the silicone, the sound quality of the earbuds and the volume/mic, and the overall design
    • I can't figure out why they would use a cheaper material on more expensive headphones
    • But BOSE still has one of the greatest sounding headphones to date.
    • Couldn't get enough of them and had no idea how I ever wore any cheap headphones
    • and I have check this and have no issues, is how it was build, the other models had stronger materials on the top headphone itself, but anyway I think the problem is the tip itself, made from gel as the other ones but the other ones never had this feel on my ears
    • I think that these are, by far, the best headphones I've tried...and over time, I've tried many brands
    • My husband immediately stole these Bose headphones from me
    • Overall, Bose has hands down the best comfort of any in-ear headphones I tried, including very expensive ones such as Sennheiser
    • Yes these headphone look fragile, but if well taken care of these phones will last quite awhile.
    • I love these headphones
    • I love these headphones
    • After having these headphones for almost a year, I can easily say these are some of the most uncomfortable, painful headphones I have ever used.
    • The Bose Sound True Ultra in-ear headphones deliver pretty good sound quality, very good on the high end of the frequency range -somewhat limited on the low end
    • Summing up, these are very good in-ear headphones, providing very consistent and clear sound
    • Furthermore, if you run, why would you use a pair of such "expensive" headphones anyway?
    • and I assume most people reading this review do also, I would not recommend these headphones
    • These are nice headphones, they sound nice, although they aren't worth the money
    • These headphones are awesome

    • The SoundTrue Ultra headphones are the most comfortable in-ear headphones I've ever owned.
    • These headphones are not perfect though
    • Comfort - the tips don't go deep into the ear canal like many in-ear headphones
    • Want to block out the outside world without the bulky headphones
    • Best headphones i ever had
    • I travel so I usually use a set of name brand over-the-ear noise canceling headphones
    • If you're determined to purchase a Bose product, I would recommend the original SoundTrue in-ear headphones
    • They're good headphones, but best when sitting around and not on the move.
    • I love my headphones.
    • Ok... Look: I am a huge FAN of music, but I am not an audiophile and I've never been able to afford Bose headphones before
    • The earbuds form a nice seal in your ears, and these headphones work very well when there's the roar of airplane engines
    • Love these headphones !
    • Overall great headphones however the design is a little off to negate the cable splittage you'd need to fold them in a specific way to prevent long term decay.
    • Most comfortable in-ear headphones I have worn
    • Truly great fitting headphones
    • These headphones are comfortable, maybe the most comfortable I've used.
    • These headphones are worth every penny!
    • Sound like cheap $10 headphones and cheap plastic too
    • If you like to workout hard and listen to you music at higher levels these headphones are not for you.
    • These headphones aren't really bad, but at the price of $130 I expected more from them
    • I thought to use them when I were working on my computer, so for me it would not be a big problem because I would not be continually moving, but big mistake, these headphones produce much noise even just breathing
    • I can honestly say these Bose headphones have made my life more enjoyable and productive
    • These headphones are very comfortable and sound great but that is as far as they go
    • very good headphones
    • These headphones are unusable except for loud rock.
    • These headphones felt like one I can by for $20 in Walmart
    • the awesome Bose In-Ear Noise Cancelling headphones
    • Specially designed for Samsung or android devices the Sound True Ultra headphones will work on other manufactures devices WITHOUT the use of its inline controls but you can still hear the clean, full-bodied sound it produces.
    • These headphones are wonderful.
    • Great sound and comfortable in-ear headphones
    • Great headphones
    • Usually, I prefer full headphones for all the regular reasons involving quality of sound and comfort
    • Overall, decent headphones
    • All in all, these headphones are NOT WORTH $150
    • I feel like these headphones try to do a lot of things well, and fail to really succeed in any department
    • Love the Bose headphones
    • It could be that just these headphones are faulty, but I can't believe I spent that much on a pair of headphones that sound and feel the way these do.
    • Absolutely disappointed... I really really wanted to like this headphones, and actually I did, for about 2 days
    • I bought these headphones primarily to be able to listen to audiobooks on the NYC subway and they work like a charm
    • It can be a nuisance sometimes when exercising, but the clip on the cable can reduce the noise (although not fully).Overall, the Bose Soundtrue Ultra is a great-sounding headphone suited for people who want a comfortable pair of headphones with a clear, detailed sound on all music genres (although this sometimes sacrifices depth and dimension)
    • Really disappointed at the price point, and can't use any features like you have on standard iPhone headphones.
    • Got these as a gift for my boyfriend, he has been using the same bose headphones forever and refuses to switch to wireless with me
    • These are excellent headphones.
    • Initially I hated these headphones because of the very high noise when rubbing the wire against
    • I was looking for a pair of truly noise-isolating headphones, comparable to Klipsch's $79 pair, and found the noise isolation here disappointing.
    • These headphones sound absolutely fantastic, with amazing bass and mids; however, they stopped working after 7 or 8 months due to the crappy wire design
    • Great headphones, love them!
    • The sound quality is amazing and I must say they are probably the most comfortable in-ear headphones i've ever had
    • The headphones performed consistently well, with subtleties of the music more apparent since the tight seal eliminates external noise
    • Good headphones
    • On my off time I watch movies on my laptop and the over ear headphones became really uncomfortable for me after using them for over an hour during a movie
    • I have a problem with in-ear headphones in that I have a small ear canal, and most types do not fit
    • below).Comfortable - These fit very comfortably (probably the most comfortable noise isolating headphones on
    • This is my third headphone from bose, earlier had only issues in terms of built quality only (wires withers after few months of use) but sound quality was excellent (IE2 and IE2)
    • These headphones are fantastic
    • the strain reliefs at the controls and the headphones are integrated into the housings so they don't separate on the headphones and the mic/controls have their own now
    • These headphones are good but not great in the sound quality department.
    • These headphones are fine
    • They do not actively cancel sound, but if you find an earpiece that fits your ear well, these headphones create a great seal to block out external noise
    • Excellent in-ear headphones and well-worth the cost!!
    • Good headphones, but not what I expected from the Bose brand.
    • My previous Bose headphones had an angled plug and I loved it... didn't put as much stress on the phone jack... but WHYYYYYY would you put this straight plug on $150 headphones??
    • I feel like these headphones try to do a lot of things well, and fail to really succeed in any department
    • I own multiple Bose products (SoundLink, QC-25 noise cancelling headphones, MIE2i earbuds) and was aghast that I couldn't even get a refund let alone swapping them out.
    • Good headphone
    • my portable headphones has been the Koss portapro.
    • While I don't really consider myself to be an expert at sound quality (I'm the type that uses reasonably priced headphones
    • (I actually think audiophiles are pompous and full of malarkey) but these are some of the best, if not the best, sounding headphones I've ever owned.
    • Superb Use them while doing work, they are super noise cancelling almost as good as the over ear headphones
    • And yes the cord sucks as it is very noisy
    • These work!- Sound is amazing.- Blocks out sound so that people can't hear what you hear so play it as loud as
    • I don't blame the store employee as it didn't appear he had any control over making it
