I've used several overdrive/distortion pedals and I can say this is one of the most versatile, warm and punchy overdrive I have ever used

But the advantage the OD-3 has is a greater range of timbre than most warm-sounding overdrives

I was in no hurry, and I wanted to get a really good overdrive no matter the cost

That's what a good overdrive should do.

It's really tough to beat this pedal if you're looking for a solid, inexpensive overdrive
