I tried it with a Les Paul and it could handle everything from smooth blues to crunchy classic rock.

You can get a lot of those great "Stevie Ray" or classic rock tones with a Tubescreamer boosting an already overdriven amplifier.

With this set up at live situation sounds incredible for Rock/Blues,Hard Rock,Jazz fusion, Bordeline metal depending on how hot the guitar bridge pick ups your using

I would definitely recommend this pedal if you like classic rock and highly manageable levels of OD from clean to pretty ragged.
