The top does get hot

It bakes GREAT - does get hot on the outside so keep it away from other things.

Be warned that it does get fairly hot on top and sides

The only downside it has is that the outside of the unit does get hot, but I have that issue solved with a raised cutting board on top of it

Like the feature of putting the item in the Oven, setting the temp and the machine does the rest.

This one toasts perfectly!It does get hotter than I'd like on the outside, otherwise this is pretty much perfect.

The only downside is the outside of it does get pretty hot too.

The top does get very hot, but then that works for warming a plate or two

FYI, the outside of the toaster/oven does get very hot and they recommend a four inch clearance
