Multiple sources that test and rate toaster ovens said Breville was the best but warned that the ovens were large and I worried that the features were overkill; Breville also had a LOT of models which led to a lot of waffling on my part.

The "smart" feature is that the coils turn off when it decides it is too hot.

, it has nice features such as little magnets that pull out the grill when the door opens.

The small, compact feature of this oven is for naught since it requires and extra 8 inches of counter space to use.

All the features are well worth the price

I like all the features of this oven except that the timer ding is not very loud.

It is great feature for baking but it means you can never get something dense toasted and nothing broils because the coils are off more than on.

I feel Brevell should add this important feature to all their models because it makes it easier to grab the hot food much easier

The warming feature is good.

So in order to supplement that poor feature, I just ordered another regular toaster, just for bread.

The only missing feature, when you opened the door in the old one the rack slid out

This is a really nice feature.

Perhaps my favorite feature is the auto shut off when the timer times out.

The newer version has an interior light as well which is another nice feature.

Easy to use, great features, much better than heating up the large oven for small things

It's not quite as shiny as when we bought it, but probably because we don't really give it the scrubbing it deserves; we just clean out the tray at the bottom and wash the glass every now and then.

Baked items are equally as good as if there were in a normal sized oven

The top gets very warm to hot as there is little or no insulation

Must be an electricity savings somewhere here as well as it's so efficient.

So if say you have a towel, or plate, or cutting board or really anything on the counter in front of it it will slam closed on your hand burning you as you reach in for your toast
