The cartridges in our Brother machine are much easier to replace

I like Brother inkjet printers because they offer the least expensive OEM (original equipment manufacturer) cartridges of all the major brands (e.g., HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark & Brother) while providing good print quality.

After using my new printer for a little over three weeks, the cartridges are getting empty -- a little expensive for such short time use.

my E-z Ink Compatible Ink Cartridge didn't work in my Brother MFC-J870DW.

Will only use authentic ink cartridges for ink jet printers (ruined too many printers trying to save money...not worth it)

Despite going through the listing guide to select the correct cartridge - I have the wrong ones for a New Brother MFC-

I hoped the more expensive Brother CYMK cartridges would cure/repair our printer:

It comes on in the middle of the night to clean the cartridges....even when it is turned off

The cartridges are a breeze to change and the changing process does not include an extended testing process and test print

I'm sure these cartridges are great, but if you only print in black, check out the black electrical tape" hack to avoid using any color ink at all.

That was nice but didn't help the print job I really needed to have that day and seems to be a printer defect as that clearly shouldn't have used up an entire cartridge in less than one hour.

They are getting 3 stars not because there is anything wrong with them, but because the E-z Ink Compatible Ink Cartridges have worked flawlessly and for WAY less money.

Next time I'll try the cheap E-Z Ink Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacements.
