The MFC-6430 was discarded due to plugged printer head (as was the subsequent Epson WF-7620), not because of failing drives/ gears (which I suspect is already happening after some hours of scan operation).With dual scanner heads, two-sided scanning is a breeze!

Awesome functionality especially 2 sided scanning and mobile printing.

I love the 2 sided scanning and being able to print on 11x17 paper!

Double sided scanning is amazingly fast.
