I finally decided to buy a laser printer instead of the ink jets that I have previously used because this laser is price competitive with the ink jets now.

Again: only buy this if you're just looking for a cheap laser AIO and don't mind relying on USB if not as the only interface, then as the one you'll inevitably use on a regular basis when you don't feel like wasting 20 minutes figuring out how to get it back on the network

These lasers are much more economical on ink and also a lot faster than ink jets

So I will keep this printer and either continue my search for an affordable laser that will meet my needs, or I will use this one for text and print on the school M605 when I have images in my documents

I upgraded to their laser printer line and what a disappointment.

But the overall bang for the buck is definitely here, so it should be on the short list if you’re looking for an inexpensive, home-use laser that can handle printing, scanning and copying (and faxing, if that’s something people still do!).
