If you don't need to do color printing, this laser is awesome
Again: only buy this if you're just looking for a cheap laser AIO and don't mind relying on USB if not as the only interface, then as the one you'll inevitably use on a regular basis when you don't feel like wasting 20 minutes figuring out how to get it back on the network

the wireless feature worked flawlessly with my iPhone 6. great wireless printer.
The printer is amazing - every single feature - except it constantly loses connection to the network.
The scan feature is horrible
Love this machine, only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the display doesn't light up and using a flashlight doesn't help much, no idea why they neglected that feature.

Also, Cloud Print was presented as a solution and I was directed to go through the setup, but it's not what I was trying to do, printing vs scanning - if I hadn't done the research myself, they would've wasted even more of my time setting up something that didn't help
I bought a Inkvestment color printer from Brother and it was horrible in print quality, super noisy, slow & has paper jam problem all the time
The printer is fast and good quality print for a great price

So the ink would dry and clog the machine and it wouldn't print in just back and white which is usually what I need
I would recommend this machine for the Home or the Office setting.
Unless you have a large 360 degree access to the printer, this involves turning the printer around to disengage the green levers, turning the machine back around to manipulate the envelopes for printing, turning the printer back around to disengage the levers to go back to regular printer mode.
Down graded from office size to this great little machine
So when you have a big project or a shipment to get out -- forget about trusting this lousy machine.

I put in NEW Brother toner, cleaned the drum, cleaned the corona wires, cleaned the flatbed glass, cleaned the ADF glass strip and the ADF white presser bar over that glass, uninstalled then re-installed the software, tried all possible setting on the scan and the printer....STILL scans and prints a white document as if it was printed on gray paper with a white border
I was able to setup the wifi to the printer and print off my iPhone7 and hard wire plug to my lab top and print from there also

Terrible customer service, the printer driver will not work on windows
Fortunately I have not had any other issues requiring customer service
Brother's customer service was excellent, once it was determined that it couldn't be repaired they shipped another one to us immediately and the new one works great.
It always disconnects from my laptop so I can't print and customer service is awful

I use it at home, and since I don't use a copier every day I found my old inkjet was always giving me trouble
Toner lasts for a fairly good amount of prints and isn't too expensive like Inkjet printers (where it's often cheaper to just buy a new printer!)
If we really printed that much we'd get an inkjet at that time and, much like the smart people here, always have our workhorse printer and our "fun" printer
If you don't use your printer on a daily basis do not get an inkjet printer the ink clogs up the machine from lack of use.

Wasted hours with troubleshooting and tech support before recycling the piece of crap and shopping for a new one.
I've wasted an hour so far and it says no toner when I just installed new toner.
I don't give up easily, but, after too many frustrating hours, I returned it.
