We bought one of these from another vendor and it printed great and has worked well for a month or so
It gave me a headache for two days but after all was said and done the printer works great.
It is easy to use and the software works well with Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Mac OSX (Yosemite)
After some hiccups with re-configuring the software and printer settings everything has been working very smooth since then
Printing works well too and is very fast, but scanning is very integral to my work as well and this printer's scanner is horrible.

The instructions say to reset the computer or contact tech support.
a few two many minutes of wait finally get to a tech support, who after an hour of working on my problem told me, of btw the printer doesn't work with dual band wifi
However, besides the harassing calls from tech support for Eric, the only person from HP that called me back was someone that told me that they couldn't help me because they are in residential products and Eric's printer is a business product.
Cleaning the deck did not resolve the issue and Tech support did not resolve
After the calls continued, I asked to talk to supervisors and managers and sometimes the tech support person ignored my request and just hung up on me.

I think this is a very good printer just don't like the price on toner
but if you are a casual home user thinking you can finally have color laser capability for an economical price, I caution you to consider the price of the toner!
Great product and prices and great service, and would buy again

not the best HP printer I have had, scans fine, Fax unique ring does not work, very poor quality color, cannot not print pictures.
This was completely broken; the scanner bar grinded and jerked its way across the flatbed, producing a very poor-quality copy with all kinds of distortions.
Installation was a breeze, the quality of printing was perfect

I rate it 4 stars for two reasons, one it took me three hours to get it working on my Windows 10 machine and second at a $500 retail price point it should come with legal size platen glass for scanning

The scan feature has had a couple issues
Some really nice features - fullscreen keypad for wi-fi password entry
I also enjoy the Air Print feature where we now can print directly from our IPhone/IPad devices.
I was able to manually print on both sides which was pretty slick - not a feature I would use much which is why I bought this model.

It is fast, easy to set up and has great color and B&W output
Uneven color application, striating, inaccurate color reproduction and finally ink leakage
Also, this new printer is lightning fast, even with my complex color brochures
(I ended up laying the box on its side and sliding the styrofoamed package out.)It prints fast and crisp and with very nice colors compared to the 12 year old HP Inkjet its replacing.
I'm giving this four stars because I think this is a good color printer

I have followed the procedures on the HP web site and the conclusion is a bad toner cartridge.
Software works as it should and is easy to use.
About the only complaint I have is the toner: the introductory cartridges that come with the box don’t last long before the yellow starts bleeding out on your paper – about 100 pages in my case.
I would give it 5 stars if the cartridges were not so expensive.
A week ago I ordered this HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw printer because my old laser printer was running low on toner and the cartridges are pretty expensive.

Running diagnostics with wifi enabled would cause the printer reboot with service error
further, any attempt to enable HP web services results in a 49 service error followed by an immediate reboot of the printer
Kept getting a 49 service error code and unable to print from wifi.
