Excellent color laser printer given the affordable price

Purchased it at such a great price that it was a no-brainer decision over it's smaller brother printer, BUT it works nothing like the HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw which used to sit in the same spot.

I was hoping this one would be just a good and especially at such a great price

nice AIO color laserjet printer, ethernet and wireless, fully mac & pc compatible, easy menu screen, easy to setup, great price.

Favorite surprise feature here has been the email to printer feature HP lets you set up

The wireless feature works like a charm with my Samsung Note 4 phones

There were some printers with slightly better reviews, but my thinking was that I've had a laser printer for twenty some years.

Very impressed so far--will update this review after several complex print jobs.

It was ordered after reading some great reviews & for it's wireless connection, which is flawless.

Overall my initial review is favorable but the dreadful touch screen means not 5 star.

Like most HP printers that I have owned in the past and currently I am impressed with the quality of construction, clean and clear print output and ease of use

The LCD screen is very intuitive and setup was a breeze, I just connected it to my local Wifi and was in business

Pros - speed for monochrome pages is good - two paper trays allows us to have two different kinds of paper (labels, forms, etc) in place - print quality is good - color reproduction is good enough - setup was easy - the touch-screen interface is useful - the printer seems to cache rasterized pages in memory, so even if the first page takes 5 minutes to print, a second copy prints in seconds - auto-duplexing works

But I must say the setup for a wireless connection was a royal pain in the butt !

I contacted HP support, only to be told it was a hardware issue, and they recommended replacement.

I contacted HP support about this and they were very helpful and even took control of my computer.

After issuing a return, we decided to give it one more try with HP support

I have had it for three weeks, prints excellent color, fast.

The print quality is very good and color is outstanding.

Once you buy normal cartridges for the defective colors, the printer prints just fine

By looking at the Print Quality Page you can notice that not all colors have this wavering problem

Prints nicely, although it is very slow if printing a larger file (like minutes between pages)

This is a great printer: very fast, relatively quiet, high quality printing.

Would have given 5 starts, but the first printer arrived with poor print quality (lines which shaking the tonor would not fix) and mechanical clanking during.

For the price of this printer I should not have so much trouble getting a good quality print out

i tried one version of third-party toner cartridges when i initially bought the printer and they performed extremely poorly (big sheets of black ink in lieu of what i was trying to print), so i returned them.so 4 stars for build, print quality, essentially no paper jams (unless the printer pauses due to needing more paper when it's duplexing -- you have to remove the existing half-printed paper and let it start over at that page, which it will

Well, come to find out, the printer shows this pin number on its touchscreen (didn't notice it before because the laptop was in a different room)

The instructions STATE that this PIN number is written in the documentation that came with the printer or it is on the printer itself

The printer never gave any indication that the PIN number took

And the tech guys (who are virtually impossible to understand) work M-F 9-5 eastern which makes it impossible for anyone who lives in THIS country and has a REAL job during the day

It worked great for a while and then continuously had paper jams.

It finally died after 18 months of paper jam it keeps spitting out pieces of foam and wont stop reading open rear door no matter how many times you try to clean it

In the second half year, perhaps after the driver was updated, the printer became to work smoothly, until last week when the paper jammed inside the machine

This printer has been nothing but trouble since the beginning always dealing with paper jams

ink is expensive and you dont know how expensive until you already own the printer

I guess this is a disposable printer with extremely expensive ink

Ink is pretty expensive so look into that before you decide to buy.

Once again, I tried all the Google remedies--it appears to just be poor quality ink
