Perfect solution if you need a printer that uses MICR toner for checks at a great price
if I have to send it back then where do I find another wireless printer for even close to this great price?
on paper, every single one.-laser toner isn't cheap, saw it will cost me 70-80 bucks-Nosier tehn a inkjet, but it price so fast
I got this printer at a great price and absolutely love it so far
I loved this printer so much, and its $99 price tag at the time (though it looks like the price has crept up, too bad) that I immediately bought one for home and love it.
I receive my printer few days it was so amazing the size is real good not big small enough the print I was looking
Received printer very quickly, works good, compact size
This is a great little printer with excellent print quality and a small size
I generally use IE as my web browser and it refuses to print Google maps from this browser if I manipulate the size of the map through print setup features.
This LaserJet P1102W is the same size and now works on the old and new computers.
What a terrific value at less than $100, I hope the toner cartridges cost less per page than the inkjet printer we replaced, it was using $30 a month in ink.
For the price, the printer is a very good value to use for everyday printing
We've had multiple problems with the initial wireless setup not working as it is supposed to
This printer is a great value for the modern Mac environment!
Well my experience with this printer has sent me back to HP, as it died after just 3 months.
The copies are of a high quality and the speed is great.
Printing speed is reasonable and printer has a small foot print
If I want a color photo, I put it on a flashdrive and print it at the local grocery store for 24 cents and don't have to bother with the slow speed and other color ink jet problems.
The print quality is very good, and the speed is definitely faster than my dinosaur 1012.Two things I don't appreciate about this printer, but they are not enough for me to give it a less than stellar review
If you ever managed to get it printing the speed and quality were great.
We've had multiple problems with the initial wireless setup not working as it is supposed to
The most impressive feature of this printer is startup speed
Well my experience with this printer has sent me back to HP, as it died after just 3 months.
Most of the time, the wireless feature renders the printer completely unresponsive, to the extent that even as I disable the wireless option on the printer and physically plug it to the computer, it still doesn't work
The obvious feature that makes this printer easy and convenient is of course the Wi-Fi capabilities
The wireless part is by far the best thing I could have ever imagined.
I have to say that wireless technology is an absolute wonderful thing
When it comes to wireless, well... when it works it works great, but if this thing has any flaws it's in the wireless operation department
2011 Update--HP fixed one thing and apparently messed up another
They are selling this thing as Mac compatible when a huge number of Macs will not be able to use the airprint function because they have OS Lion or later.
I'm told that low-end laser printers render the page as an image and while that scheme works fine for Windows machines, it is problematic for the iMacs
If this works it will be great, since I can continue to keep my home network simple and just use DHCP.Overall, this is an impressive printer for $99 and I would definitely recommend it
Overall Impression: This is a quick, compact, fast laser printer that just plain works
Did the hp printer factory or warehouse burn down?Printer works great, very fast, and I've had no issues with it at all
I then realized that the device was working through my wifi router and that once I took it out to the vehicle and away from my wifi network, then we lose connectivity.
I expect the product itself to be great; I have been using this printer for several years and it is very reliable, wireless, and inexpensive.
Luckily, technology has advanced greatly since then and this product has wireless capability for other computers to print connected via your internet router.
I would *NOT* recommend this product for mainly 2 reasons..1
There are better products out there - I will likely order a Brother HL-L2340DW as a replacement.
Thankfully, this company still churns out some of the leading products in the market.
So what use is it to have three printers all with the same name (cannot differentiate which is which) and all with dynamic IP addresses?
They have been nearly trouble-free, and don't jam nearly as often as the printers they replaced
I am computer literate and did everything suggested by HP - static IP address, changing the wireless channel, updating firmware, etc
Printer continually loses its IP address for the wireless.
After trying multiple solutions over several months (AirPlay, direct driver install, delete/reinstall, static IP address, reserved DHCP address, etc), sometimes it will print a PDF immediately, sometimes it will take up to 4 minutes/page which defeats the entire purpose of having a laser printer.
